Every day on my lesson tee I see this left shoulder move ruin so many golf swings, killing rotation and making contact inconsistent.

Over my many 15+ years coaching, I can say without a doubt that how the left shoulder tracks in the golf swing is one of the big separators between elite ball strikers or poor ball strikers. In this video you’ll learn the exact move that causes so many golfers to struggle with low point, path, contact, poor shoulder plane, and unable to turn freely through the shot. I like to think there is a more natural way like we find across other sports, and amongst the game’s greats like Rory McIlroy and Arnold Palmer featured in this video! I do hope you enjoy this episode and look forward to your feedback.

  1. The best explanation of this move I’ve been trying to achieve. Heading out to the range in about 30 minutes and give this a go…

  2. Great video and a key to understand the pattern to build a swing. Bravo! P.S. You had a lot of energy in this video – you must have had your Wheaties!

  3. This is 100% me. In your experience, is it more effective to focus on a feeling of lead shoulder down and around, or same feeling with left hip?

  4. Getting the logo to go down and around for me starts with pulling the left hip back from the top of the back swing to start the downswing. The logo move is a by product of the lead hip move back and around in the opposite direction.

  5. i am really guilty of this and it will creep into my swing but i never could really figure out what it is except for the low block out to the right shank type shot. i could feel myself rocking back like you showed. i'm gonna work on what you recommend, thnx a lot. i still got some hockey sticks and skates in the garage.

  6. Brilliant video Milo. The slow motion pieces demonstrate the positions perfectly. Happy and Healthy 2025 to you and all your family and team
