Derrick Carr is 5-14 as the starting quarterback for the saint's against teams that are .500 or better. He's not a winning quarterback. His career win/loss record is 77-92.. he's a losing quarterback.. of his 11 year career he's had 3 seasons above .500.. if we bring him back we'll be paying a losing quarterback $50 million. That's absolutely insanity. We should take the hit and part ways with him and save some money next year developing Spencer and if it works out great, and if it doesn't at least we tried. I'd rather watch Spencer go through the struggles of developing next year than another .500 or worse season with Carr.
Very torn… loved yalls content and never miss a show but with everything going on for the first time ever as a fan and from here, I’m just ready for this season to end.

Carr is Horrible and he’s not a leader , and it’s always someone else fault .. I say run with Rattler next year, IF the Saints have a bad year then we go get Arch Manning, without a QB you not winning in the NFL
Honestly carr has been good on the field. When healthy. But if we cut june 1st we save 30 mil. Do it. Let the new coach take control and get someone better than jeff ireland for player personnel. He has made Sam Darnold into a very good QB. I think he would be an excellent choice with no ties to Loomis, Allen or Payton. I believe he is the son of Wade Phillips and grandson of Bum Phillips.

Whomever we bring in as a Head Coach the Defense needs a New Coordinator and Staff with replacement of its current Players . We can’t tackle / we can’t stop the run / we can’t rush the Passer or contain QB’s / TE’s and WR’s are consistently open and have big plays over and over against us ! Werner and Turner are Underachieving High Draft Picks that are always Injured ! Honey Badger is done as a Player. He’s missed Tackles and Interceptions numerous times since his arrival especially this season ! He’s also not a good Leader for this young secondary ! The Defensive Line needs an Overhaul as well as the Linebacker Crew . Foskey seems to be another Wasted high draft pick too ! This Team resembles the Saints of the 60’s and the 70’s as well as the Ditka Regime ! No Leadership ! No Direction or Vision ! 4 Playoff less Seasons in a Row and Counting ! If Benson and Co. don’t make the necessary changes they should Sell the Team !
