Great video James and Gaz. Both of those are amazing value and performance for sure. But I've got the Tour Edge E723 irons and for the money they are amazing performance, looks and especially forgiveness. Love to see Gaz as often as possible on the channel. Happy New Year guys.
Until DTC brands have a more robust demo program it will be hard for many of us to give them a go. “Only” $600/$700/$800 sounds great compared to big brands but the lack of hands-on opportunities and limited customization (e.g, lie, shaft length, grip wraps, etc.) make it hard to hit the purchase button.
I am in the market for new irons as I currently play with older Titleist CB's. The Takomos look fantastic and seem to be the perfect spec for me. Will be buying the 101T in the near future!
I recently have looked at Takomo and Caley, but the price has crept up. I think you may be better waiting a few model years and buying the bigger names. I fear they are pricing themselves too high to be considered budget! They are only budget compared to the current overpriced options of the big name manufacturers. I never shop for the current offering. I wait a few model years. I can’t be bothered to have the latest and greatest!! Discretionary income won’t allow it nowadays

How do the Maltby TS1 IM irons stack up against the 101 or 101T's? Maltby under $500.
You guys should bring a 20 handicap to also compare those clubs. Throw the kirkland and maybe another brand in as well.
4.5 for feel…is there an iron that you would give a 5 for feel?
I just bought the wilson cb staff 2024 for 750 Canadian dollars brand new the retail price here in Canada is like 1500
Be interested to see a review on the Ram FX77 irons.
Club Champion in the US have Takomo irons that they will fit you for.
