  1. UConn up 10 & then down 5. Most teams get demoralized with the way Xavier was shooting, but UConn kept Fighting back ! 👊

  2. Bad D or Good O? It was both. From beyond the 3 point line, Xavier was on fire off of great one on one moves. From 2, it was poor rotations, and Tarris being unable to get back to the paint after trying to blow up ball screens. That lead to multiple layups in the second half.

  3. U CONN SEEMS TO HAVE OVERCOME AN IMAGINED 'STIGMA' ABOUT XAVIER BEING THE LAST ONE TO DEFEAT THEM ON THEIR WINNING STREAK .
    THEY SUPPORTEDE EACH OTHER WELL.
I WANTED TO SAY THIS AT THE END OF THE GEMA & GIVE SUPPORTIVE VIEW THAT THEY WILL IMPROVE WITH A PERFORMANCE LIKE THIS SO THAT IT WOULD SINK IN .

  4. The team showed good composure last night. That’s great to see. But, I’m already sick of teams having career shooting nights vs UConn. This is already the 3rd time this season.

  5. We won that game with six points off the bench, our starting center out, and Xavier shooting the lights out. That’s somethin’.

  6. That drought started when Mahaney came in for Diarra, so no surprise there. Offense didn't run well. This kid is not a pg, square peg, round hole.

  7. Mahaney has not proven good enough on offense to overcome his lack of defense and strength. He is a liability right now. Not that he can’t get there. Noel is physically ahead and needs play time to really see where and how he can contribute.

  8. i ran last year's Uconn team against this years one in a sim and this current years team wins out against the last years team granted samson johnson is not inured when running the sim

  9. I wonder if it was more agonizing to watch that game live at the XL than to watch it at home. I yelled every time Maddox Jr. came off a screen!
