Testing the NEW AXIS 1 Smoke Rose 2.0 Putter… #axis1

When talking about ZERO TORQUE Putters, the NEW Axis 1 Smoke Rose 2.0 putter, renowned for being used by JUSTIN ROSE on the PGA and EUROPEAN TOUR can’t be overlooked!…

I myself have bought into the ZERO TORQUE putter hype with the LAB DF3, so I can’t wait to try something a little different!

  1. My local sporting goods store has putters that look “identical” for $39. I wonder how many strokes a round they would differ?

  2. I owned the previous version. It really felt like it was on rails. But, when it came to distance control, it was like it was turbocharged. It felt light. But I think that is the lack of torque feel. That led to me selling it after one season.

  3. There seems to be a lot of beef between the axis founder and Lab founder. Can you do a head to head on performance, torque, revealer at different points in the shaft, thoughts etc

  4. I checked out the price difference and it is almost $200 between the axis and square to square putters. I think it is more what your going to pay for. They seem like different class of putters, mass produced versus high-end milled putters.

  5. If you can putt you can putt with anything Gaz, these are to suck golf pervs like us in to spending big money when a putting lesson and more practice on the short game areas at your home club be more beneficial

  6. I have the axis 1 and it’s way too flat of a line angle for me, I bought it used, and I was worried that if I adjusted the lie angle it would change how the putter worked, so it’s in the never to be used bag😂

  7. The only way all you Youtubers are ever going to get a perfect club is if you start up your own manufacturing company and make it perfect for you. And then you can sell one to yourself, but nobody else will want to buy it. Can’t believe how fussy golfers are. Everybody wants something different. You’d have to make 1000 versions of every club to please everybodyand even then you’d fail

  8. Intresting putting i will stick with my cobra 3d printed arm lock putter im horrible at putting but i do like using my cobra defiantly help role the ball much better for me

  9. With respect to the REVEALER check … it is way way better than others we’ve all seen. Let’s say we scored it as a “95 out of 100” in that regard … it is so much more conventional (and prettier) than a LAB putter, and you say it has a firmer contact … sounds like a WINNER to me, no?

  10. Revealer. Designed by Bill Presse, the founder of LAB. The only way you can perfectly satisfy it is with a Lie Angle Balanced putter. That's pattented by LAB. Why bother using it on any other putter. Pointless.

There's a reason pxg and axis one all measure torque in different ways. The revealer is basically a LAB product.

  11. Part of me wonders if any of this new tech is really any benefit to the average golfer, or if it's just a load of marketing buzzwords targeting people trying to buy a game.

  12. About as close to LAB as it gets. That hosel setup is too wacky looking for me. A few years ago I was tempted to buy one of these , but held out. Great review.

  13. Nice video 👍🏻 just can’t really see at the same price why you would choose this over a lab. Lab on my 25 try list.
