Is there a bigger domestic rugby rivalry than when the Red of Munster faces the Blue of Leinster? A huge URC encounter at Thomond Park. Lots to discuss, including – Was Mack Hansen right???

  1. Munster fans are absolutely nuts. Electric atmosphere, they’re so passionate about rugby. They are knowledgeable they know the rules and support their team 110% .
love it love the passion, a club like that will come back strong again

  2. Ringrose was incredible. JVdF will be player of 2025 if he continues like this. Great when Ireland are poor.
Munster fucked Crowley by starting him last week. No chance he gets chosen at 10 for the england game.

  3. Who cares about this dribble of a game , sale spanking Bristol is where it’s at , where’s the video for that cocker !!

  4. Leinster have too much money. What the IRFU cover on central contracts for them is equal to Munsters total player budget. It's not even close to being even so keep kidding yourself of greatness. How long since this world class Leinster team won something. Or is smashing the other 3 province's in a rigged system enough of an ego boost.

  5. If the Munster attack is anything to go by then all the coaching staff need to be changed, they are absolute rubbish and they'll have to admit it now. People like Ian Costello really had no experience to begin with for that job and he is not producing good players in the academy and Mike Prendergast has not improved the attack yet they are talking about him being head coach. The bottom line is this Munster team never works as hard a Leinster do and their attack is very very poor, with awful handling and timing. This Munster team is slow, cant recognise space and dont have the hands to execute if they do see space, shocking. Munster are going nowhere with these coaches. Looks like anybody can be a coach for Munster now, a sort of jobs for the boys thing is going on there now.

  6. Reading comments on social media after the game yesterday, some Munster fans were slating Billie Burns. I watched the full game today and I thought he had a pretty good game. Nothing to different to Crowley. Some mistakes and some really nice moments.

  7. This idea that you can go “3,6,9.12 “from penalties is quite ridiculous. Maybe you can say “3” but if you take the “3”, the course of the game will change . There is a kick off and pressure is off . In this game if Munster had taken the “3” there would have been no yellow card and most probably no try . To assume the game would carry on the same way after a successful penalty , is quite frankly rather clueless . Too many pundits ( like Donal Lenihan ) come out with this mantra . Penalties do not repeat themselves at the same time and in the same places. Enjoyable podcast apart from that

  8. How would we grade the changes that have happened in the game in 2024? I am viciously apposed to any changes since 1995 (slightly tongue in cheek), but it could be a good video going through things and offer a grade like music during stoppages (C) Goal line drop outs (B) names on shirts (F—)

  9. It was definitely a try at the end I was on the north terrace looking at it. Camera angles were terrible

  10. 1 overbearing province is not good for irish rugby, they are like the dream team from playstation- any thoughts on Barrett on Aki and no TMO? Mack Hansen not happy as am I!

  11. Yes the Munster ruck defence went missing, made it easy. Glad I am not the only who thinks Josh has been man of the match and missed out.

  12. Leinster did enough to win the game but let's not cod ourselves, munster are atrocious, leaderless, rudderless and unfortunately when April comes around and the south Africans have a trophy at stake , leinster hit a brick wall, again and again, hope I'm wrong this time around, maybe with prendergast at 10 and Barrett at 12 then leinster could and should be winning the urc at least, but champions cup? Can only see one winner there, toulouse.

  13. Are ireland too fixed on the six nations? Three in a row. Simon Easterby has the perfect opportunity to play good upcoming players test them at test level against world class opposition rather than play against second tier nations

  14. Thought Tommy O'Brien deserved a shout for an excellent game. Mad sone very big tackles and dispite the yellow had s very positive contribution.

  15. Looked at the game again. For vdf try Ryan was tackled there was nobody trying to rip the ball from him and he popped it up. He didn't pick the ball from the ground. It looked odd but it happens every game bur rarely after a counter ruck. That's my take anyway. If there was a poacher… penalty. If he gathered the ball from the ground .. penalty. Is there a time limit? I don't know.

  16. Not surprised at the result. Munster have to get there act together they need a leader in head coach to steady the sinking ship! Under the circumstances cant blame all the players they need a head coach! What will start happening the supporters will dwindle away double edged sword. The longer this situation carries on, I will guarantee it will happen. It is my fervent hope that my beloved Munster, that soon a solution will be found and we can hopefully go back to old Munster and start winning, and not holding our breath.

    Thank you Tim

  17. Yes, well done for St Stephens Day! Meanwhile, although I think I probably would have also given Sam Prendergast 'Man Of The Match', I take your point about Josh van Der Flier. I kinda think he should take over from the Duracell Bunny though he might not appreciate my suggestion.

  18. Tim! St Stephen’s Day!! Fair ball to ya haha 😂🤗 I just wish the line out would improve for Leinster Munster and especially Ireland. No offence Tim but if we are beaten at home by England because we still have a dodgy line out, I’ll cry me leg off 😬
