  1. No such thing as a forgiving driver! Don’t even bother trying to find one, just get fit for a shaft that will work for you and then get better at hitting a driver!

  2. Thanks Pete, informative and enjoyable as always 😊 quick question though, I recently gave up my QI10 MAX for a SIM2 MAX, and i have to say, its so much better , for feel, distance and forgiveness. What do you think about the SIM2 max ? How do you reckon it would compare to the ones you just mentioned? This older club is currently selling out in most shops .

  3. Hey, did you try the other ls model. But the heavy weight can also go to the back eh? I've head that's awesome.

  4. This means absolutely nothing unless you are also discussing the shafts used in combination with the driver head.

  5. Brother, I just put a 5 degree long driver (lofted up to 7 degrees) in the bag 😆 I can’t wait to see how it goes. The range results have been EPIC (it’s an epic speed driver).

  6. The Paradym triple diamond is not necessarily a 10K driver, but it will beat all these other driver heads in distance and if you hit on the screws, it will average IMHO longer and straighter drives, I am 77 and hit 44.75" Fuji velocore, red about 240 yards, I noticed you hit the Black one, when you need forgiveness, what you really mean is you need practice, pratice, and practice…Great Video, I like it when a YouTuber says that a "former club was actually better", that shows you are very unbiased in your analogy…Kudos for a great video Peter!

  7. I have been to Algarve in October with my dad. We rented and tested Taylormade Qi10 and Ping 430. We absolutely loved ping 430 driver whereas we could not hit Qi10 at all. Small note, my handicap is 15 and I use Taylormade ever since I started at golf, 9 years ago.

  8. I have the Qi10 max as a high 20’s HC and it’s very good. Not a miracle cure for slice and hook. I really have only felt the benefits when it comes off the toe

  9. I’m gonna be absolutely brutally honest and at 50 in jan next year plus playing golf since 1985 Iv absolutely no reason to lie
I play off 6 handicap consistently maybe 3 and n my best days and I don’t take any notice or interest for the new handicap system as it makes average players look better than they are (just had to get that in)
what I’m really saying is this
Bought a G430 and after the wow factor of actually owning it and reality setting in I found that my score wasn’t dropping
    Chopped it in
    Bought the Qi 10 max
Again after the honeymoon period wore off it was no better than the last
Basically gaining extra 10 yards or slightly more isn’t going to change your game
Iv now got a Cleveland launcher XL 2, 9% degree, 3 wood extra stiff shaft as the previous and still hitting more or less the same but tbh its more accurate
    Gauntlet laid down
I’ll play anyone of stick end up o prove me wrong

  10. Golf equipment is all a wash. Buy what looks great to your eye and makes you happy to play the game.

  11. Great video! However, you missed Mizuno ST MAX 230, which was known to be very forgiving. Would you be able to review it?

  12. The only problem with tour edge is £80+ shipping plus import duty and VAT. Once you factor all of that in you’re looking at a club that’s closer to £450
