Incredible lesson by Lee Trevino that is hopefully going to help you become more consistent at this game that we’ll all love so much!

I’m a small time content creator who has been posting regularly for almost 2 years and my game has improved the MOST simply by the lessons Mr. Trevino has shared.

So I hope you’re able to get as much value out of it as I have these last 2 years!

Key points:

1. Everyone has their own unique swing
2. Move the ball back if you’re struggling with contact and don’t aim at anything
3. Think of the body as a tree trunk
4. Try to hit the inside of the ball at 7 o’clock!!!!

I could go on and on about all of the gold nuggets Lee has dropped but those are 4 of my favorites!

  1. I worked as a starter as course for several years and the biggest conceptual mistake I’d seen noobs make was trying to get a squared to target face hitting the ball a 6 o’clock + dead center be cause it seems logical.

Showing them the Hogan waggle and how the release of lag brings club in from inside to 7 as Lee suggests is something I show them to fix it

  2. great video from a legend , i bet a few modern pros are not happy as they may be losing money from potential clients who will watch and try this rather than go and pay them for a lesson to change their swing, i will stick with lee, he knows best .

  3. Lee is a GOAT in the sport of golf. The old guy’s all had personality and humor. That’s why I watched. The last great personality left is the ole boy from Arkansas.

  4. Lee, don’t forget to tell the people if you want to hit the ball solid more often then not to start playing when your under 10 yrs old not after retirement AND don’t play in a church softball league . If you start early Majors are your Oyster

  5. What an awesome video. As a player, the guy is an icon, but one an amazing teacher, too! This one video has already helped me turn a corner with my game.

  6. I have the name Trevino and get asked if we are related all the time as a joke but I truly looked up too and still do to this man. A small part of me always hoped we actually were more than the same last name.

  7. Lee Trevino was one of the few players that could go toe to toe against Jack Nicklaus and not wet his self. He was one of the greatest competitors of all-time in any sport.

  8. Lee Trevino is a fake with his false advertisement for Arthritis Knee Pain Center. That shit doesn't work. Just another money grabbing scam.

  9. In contrast to mine,my ball position must be left even to outside my left heel.It is true that if I move the ball right,it will go straight right.

  10. I look at the ball and try to make contact but Move the clock face where 12 o’clock is at the top. Making 4 o’clock my striking point.

  11. Lee knows it all but it’s kind of odd that he was known for fading or slicing the ball. Not drawing it.Thats an outside in swing I believe.

  12. Trevino is one of the greatest ball strikers in the history of golf. Glad I got to watch him in his prime…and in person a few times.

  13. Lee's gotten in excellent shape over the past few years. He's always been a stocky player. Hopefully, this means we'll have him around longer. 🙏
