The Houston Texans have won some close games this season, and recently they endured a pair of last-second losses. But Head Coach DeMeco Ryans told his team it’s not about what you’re going through, it’s about what you’re growing through.

On this episode of IRON SHARPENS IRON, the Texans face off against the New York Jets and paint H-Town red for the Battle Red game on Sunday Night Football.

Find out how the team approaches difficult moments and how the coaches and players “keep the main thing, the main thing.”

Plus, C.J. Stroud makes one child’s gameday extremely special.

It’s all in Episode 6 of IRON SHARPENS IRON presented by Houston Methodist

  1. This series is so appreciated. I am grateful for the Texans PR people to have thought this up, sold it to Cal, and brought in so much production quality. This gets us closer to our team and builds the sense of fan unity and team connection that we did not have in the dark days of pre-Demeco Texans misery.

  3. This season has challenged the team in a lot of ways, can’t wait to see us find our rhythm in this last stretch of the year and make everybody remember the #SWARM

  4. I love videos like this because you can see how genuinely nervous he is during multiple counts of the video he forgets to say please and thank you not in a rude way but because he is so grateful and shocked he has the opportunity he does knowing most people don’t, his parents raised a very respectful kid

  5. This is so.e good stuff. I ride with CJ. He's my quarterback through the good times and rough times
