Lost respect for Kirk letting his bias and emotion get in the way and still sound whinny in this
The Indiana game was a blowout . Just a fluke at the end.
CNN to DNC like ESPN to SEC!
So obviously according to these asshole only SEC teams should be in the playoff. Wow, color mew shocked. And Herbie, I have absolutely no sympathy for you. You brought this on yourself.
The playoffs and championship games should be decided in domes. The weather should never be a factor
What Kirk said 100% right, cry babies will cry.
SMU was ranked much higher then Clemson but their overall record was not better. They both lost one ACC game and Clemson beat SMU. The only difference was Clemson losing to Georgia and South Carolina and SMU losing to BYU. Why was SMU ranked higher then Clemson and above them?
Kirk and ESPN would like Alabama in the playoff every year even if they loose three games. I can't even listen to him and Fowler anymore and most of the time I mute them and turn on Paul Keels the voice of the Buckeyes. Give me Gus and Joel Klatt any day over Herby and Fowler. ESPN is so SEC biased it's hard to take anything they say serious.
Re-seeding would make the CFP a total clown show because it would discredit the whole thing.
ND up 27-3 with 3 min left 🤣😂 Tennessee BLOWN OUT. Oklahoma just lost to Navy!! So Bama is TRASH this year
Quit with “most deserving” – how about quit with “brand”
he may not intend to say this but if Kirk's idea for the committee is implemented they may as well not play the regular season. they are going to fantasy book every playoff and its going to be the same teams year in and year out (i.e. Ohio state and Alabama will make it every year even if they have 4-5 loses). the only TRUE way we have to know who the 'best' teams are is to play the games…..someone's opinion of who the 'best' is is the primary reason they keep having to re-do the sport every 3-5 years. Records matter!
All these analyst like to act like they already know who the best team is… like “do you want the best team or the most deserving?”…. Okay Herbstriet, sure tell us without a doubt who the 12 best teams are. Hell, for that matter, if you already know, just go ahead and crown a national champion… I’ve said it before, the only point of the playoff is to prove, with little doubt, who the single best team is. You don’t find that out by having a bunch of teams from the same conference play each other for a second time. You must allow conference champs to play conference champs or you leave room for argument.
How about letting the committee decide and everyone else stop whining!! There's going to be blowouts.
What last week proved was that all they needed to do was expand to 8. Big drop off after the top 8 This also proves the committee had it right since they started the top4 rankings. There are 2 teams left that have no business in this. arizSt and Boise. Absolutely 0% chance they get to final 4.
Ole Miss, Alabama and South Carolina should have been in the CFP PERIOD. You can’t honestly tell me SMU, Boise State, Clemson and Arizona State are better teams than any of those 3. This is why there were a bunch of blowouts because they didn’t put the 12 BEST TEAMS in the CFP. I’m sure it cost the powers that be a boat load of money too, because nobody tunes in to watch a bunch of blowouts. It’s ridiculous to put teams in the CFP that haven’t even beat a single top 25 team all year, I mean what did you expect?
Did Greg sankey treat you gently, herbie?
McAfee is the biggest ahole on espn.
27-3 until 2 min left mcafee you dummy. EVERYONE knows it was a blowout.
espn the dummies of sports reporting.
a freaking kicker thinks he's hulk hogan lololol kick the ball and stfu.
omg stop talking mcafee. Better to be thought the fool than open your mouth and remove all doubt mcafee. Ever heard that saying? Doubt it because you're too busy running your mouth.
Indiana was a good story, but the best win they had was 20-15 over a Michigan team that can’t complete a forward pass. Penn State best win over a 23 ranked Illinois team? SMU had zero chance in a wind chill 10 degree weather, when SMU QB had never thrown a football that is frozen. Bottom line the Big 10 has 2 teams worthy of the playoffs. Come on now! 😊
KIRK'S SAYING WHAT THE PUBLIC IS SAYING. Why does he have to come onto here and apologize for having a popular opinion?
Haven't these guys heard the phrase "On any given day?" Upsets happen, blow outs happen, injuries happen.
You know I hear people say if you throw out that 98 yard run well if you throw that out, you also gotta throw out the two touchdowns at the last minute when Notre Dame let off the gas. Everybody wants to throw out the one plate they made the other team win, but you also have to throw out the other two that made it close.
Strength of schedule and how many ranked teams did you beat should be used otherwise its a joke.
I think the media uses the "I" test, as opposed to the "eye" test. Their biases tend to cloud they're eyes.
This espn seminar?? Wow!! Does that suppose to mean something?? This dude is so delusional and entitled.
Just call it the SEC invitational. It’s what ESPN wants.
People, stop saying faux fur……. Real fur is a renewable recourse that can benefit the entire ecosystem. Faux fur is made from fossil fuels…….. the reason that was included was to please the same people that would argue tooth and nail against anything that uses oil. Love you pat 😘
Again with the TN going to play a game in a cold climate. TN got smacked around all game long. It had very little, if anything, to do with the temperature. It was 2 degrees colder in Columbus Ohio, than it was in Knoxville TN…
