  1. Sour grapes. I believe Langer to be a man of integrity over some anonymous internet couch potato.

  2. The fact that Langer beat the Woods team in a playoff is the only reason for any controversy. The Langers have won this tournament 6 times and there hasn’t been a whisper of foul play, until now.
Perhaps Cedric Woods should be tested for PEDs to see who the actual cheater is. Strippers and HGH all day baby.

  3. Some 25 handicap is complaining…..almost all "broom putters" put this same way….if it was such an advantage everybody would be putting this way

  4. In watching the PNC event, I felt that Langer was violating rule 14-1b by "anchoring" his left hand against his chest. Per rules interpretation, "The club is anchored when the player intentionally holds the club or a gripping hand in contact with any part of his body, except that the player may hold the club or a gripping hand against a hand or forearm." Langer's left hand grip and/or wrist appeared to be against his shirt/jacket on most putts with no evident separation. IMHO USGA and R&A should implement a maxium length of putter rule between 36" – 38". This would be similar to the maximum driver shaft length of 46". While I'm at it, USGA and R&A should address the fairway divot rule because the player who first created the divot had a preferred lie and it wasn't "rub of the green". In addition, not all divots are filled correctly. When in a divot, a player should get a free drop within 1' no closer or opt to play it as it lies.

  5. When this rule was implemented, there was no evidence that the USGA offered that anchoring was an advantage over conventional methods. The USGA justified the rule in that it was not in keeping with the traditions of the game. That said, when I watched the broadcast it looked like he was resting the butt of the putter against his chest in violation of the rule. However Langer has alway been a player of honor and he gets the benefit of the doubt with me. But this is a stupid rule that should be repealed.

  6. Oh God get over it your boy and his son didn't win.It was very entertaining tournament and now that you didn't get the Cinderella story you wanted your claiming the evil queen cheated.

  7. My question is why does his putting style only become and issue now at the PNC when he's been putting this way for many, many years?

  8. The real question here is if it wasn’t anyone besides Tiger Woods losing it wouldn’t even be in question

  9. Hell if Tiger fans would have called him a genius. Remember when he had fans move a large rock when it impeded his shot to the hole nuff said whiners !

  10. I will trust Langer's judgement! He would be the first to call himself on a rule violation. Did anyone notice where Wood's placed the tee when taking one club relief???

  11. i don't know about the long putter rules so can't comment on that, what is pure cheating is that he was allowed to play off tees alot shorter than a 15 year old boys tees , thats a disgrace, how could that be accepted
