Short answer to the title question “lmao no”. Bill fits worse in college than bob knight would in the nba.
Post Brady one cannot argue how abysmal the patriots were! Given his coaching tree and drafting record, I wasn’t surprised he had no nfl coaching offers. Crazy given his credentials
I feel like you've partied with Steve belichick on the vineyard. Going hard. Wicked hardcore kid
Tom curren seems like a chiller
Good call on the impact of his father. BB watched his dad mold not just football players at Navy, but hundreds of midshipmen. Bill has raised kids, is close to them and softened as as coach over the years. He can get smart players in the portal and experiment with everything in the book. He is a teaching coach. I also agree with how his circle has gotten smaller since his Cleveland days. Maybe pull in some ex-Patriot players. No billionaire owner or son to answer to.
Bronny James JR will be a better NBA player than STEVE BELLICHEK will be at coaching ANYTHING dudes SHIT at doing anything but a bump in the bathroom
listening from somerville
Wonder if this is going to be something like a Belichek guy – Charlie Weis – in Notre Dame. Starts hot (with someone else's team), then just…kinda cratered.
well, this man has actually thought about that which hes focused on. we can make a list of those who havent thought about anything. cowherd
Parasite Lurker! Just hacking away.
Push notification, Yo Bud I did some pushing this weekend of a familiar Wheelbarrow.
Tom swearing more than a drunk sailor in the first minute of the conversation is just PURE GOLD
League Pass and headphones
Curran nailed it all. Bill was never getting hired in the NFL. Too much baggage and a refusal to adapt to the modern landscape.
As for UNC, it’ll be the same as Deion at Colorado. Rough first year, then 8-4, 10-2, 11-1. But he’ll never beat Georgia or Ohio State. It’s a strange end for arguably the GOAT.
taylor made bladez aren't blades
Bill will crush it in college.
North Carolina a sleeping giant in FOOTBALL REALLY!!!
TC is the goat
If UNC doesn't achieve top 5 program status. That doesn't mean it didn't work.
Bill doesn't chew on guys he pisses on their foreheads 😂😂😂😂
I’d assume Belichick would have conversations with Nick Saban about the college game and recruiting.
But let’s be real—does anyone truly believe Bill is building an NFL minor league team? Are we supposed to think he’s the first coach to come up with this idea just because he has a 450-page book on football strategy? And are we to believe he’s suddenly focused on developing kids with an open-door policy for mentoring? At this point in his mid-70s, he must realize this is a short run with a limited window.
Tom Curran lost the respect of everyone in Boston when he started carrying the water for the Kraft family. What a fake congrats at the beginning of the interview too. You can see it on Ryan’s face.
25:20 – Who was Harbaugh wrong about?
He will understand why Nick Saban left. 😂
I was shocked when he passed on Lamar Jackson. Really lost his draft fastball with that pick.
Pretty sure he would still be coaching the Pats if Lamar was on the team.
'theyre not 57 year olds'
Rusillo crushed the Norman Powell interview. As someone usually critical of his interviews thought he did a great job of breaking down barriers and gaining his trust after he seemed a bit closed off to start
Yes, a college coach can "cut" players who are on athletic scholarships, meaning they can remove a player from the team and no longer provide them with scholarship funding, even if they were initially recruited on scholarship; this is often referred to as a "non-renewal" of a scholarship and can happen for various reasons like poor performance, academic issues, disciplinary problems, or a change in coaching staff.
Tc wrong, Don Shula lost 2 superbowls won 2 superbowls then lost a 3rd versus the 49ers with rookie Marino
So Bill gave the NFL a “Fuck You” after he reached out to Woody Johnson and Woody passed, right? Or are we pretending that didn’t happen…
