Still using Cleveland 588's, tried an RTX 3 but did not like the look of the face.
Howell, how are these Clevelands up against the Mizubo S 23 wedges which have more forgivness on heel an toe hits? Thanks…

Good demo of the RTX and explanation of bounce. I use Cleveland wedges (PW-Lob). RTX6 (46/56) CBX4 (50) CBX F-F2 (60). The CBX F-F2 is a full face wedge, like you, most of my mishits are in the toe. I don’t understand why most wedges are not full face, all Irons for that matter. It just makes sense that the more surface hitting area you have the better the club will perform (results from a mishit). I can’t think of any shot in golf (long or short game) where hitting the ball out of the toe of the club has resulted in a better result due to the absence of groves. The weight saved from extending the groves could be used to enhance the centre-of-gravity and MOI that club manufacturers keep banging on about
If it doesn't say Cleveland, is it really a wedge??
I just ordered a 60°/6° lob wedge and a 52°/10°. I was worried about the six degrees of bounce on the lob wedge, because I have one that plays ten degrees, but I play up here in the Northeast USA with fairly tight and firm turf conditions. I don't take heavy divots with my wedges either, and from what you showed in your video I think that 60°/6° is going to suit me perfectly! And the gap wedge should be perfect for full shots. These will compliment my old Cleveland Tour Action 588 56° sand wedge too. Can't wait to try them out and great video!!
