What… a… weekend.. After another dreadful Canucks home game, and this time vs the Bruins, Matt and Blake have lots to get to on today’s show. Also, NHL insiders are buzzing about the Canucks possible involvement in trade activity, plus the story of JT Miller’s dressing room fit is still lingering around too. TSN’s Darren Dreger stops by to look at the smoke around the team, particularly any links between the Canucks and Sabres. Dregs also gives us the pulse on Rick Tocchet’s appetite to see change in the room, and are the Flames still not willing to sell? Then it’s John Shannon with his view on the Canucks up and down season and where it will ultimately lead, and what he thinks Jim Rutherford is thinking of all of it. John also gives his thoughts on the prospect of trading one of Miller or Pettersson. And then a bonus guest, as longtime Canadian journalist Stephen Brunt joins The Nation Network team and gets into the state of pro sports in Canada and the state of the media covering it. All that, plus a disappointing weekend for the Seahawks and more fallout from the Whitecaps announcing they’re for sale.

Ever thought you’d live to see everyone applaud freeland
I don't even know where to start with you guys. Not even 10 minutes in I had to turn off the show after the Pettersson not a rick tocchet type comment as if they didn't talk to tocchet before signing the richest deal in Canucks history
I think it was Tocchet who mentioned at the end of a audio clip " when or if Miller returns " . But I never heard anything more ?
Never any specifics on Miller/Petey. Just a lot of vague "well known problems" For all we know it could have been once or twice and everyone is still choosing that narrative instead of the times they get along.
Pettersson is not a leader… he has never demonstrated that. His only leadership quality is the on ice play he demonstrated before the big contract.
I think Miller can be managed by the coaching staff. I don't blame hime for his frustration with Petey. We all share it.
JT is not the problem. Petey needs to put on his big boy pants and play like a pro…….just like Miller.
Dies anyone else care about the soccer and football talk on this channel? Perhaps place it all at the back end so we can easily skip it.
