After opening presents on Christmas morning, many local families and visitors make it a tradition to hit the Islands’ golden beaches or verdant hiking trails. But there are numerous parks and outdoor attractions that will be closed on Dec. 25. As you start to plan your Christmas morning, it’s always wise to double check what parks and businesses are open to ensure you have a very merry holiday in Hawaiʻi.
Unfortunately the Byodo-In Temple in Kāneʻohe will be closed on Christmas.
