The more money is discussed the less interested in professional golf I get. I'd happily watch a professional tour where every player gets paid X-amount/year (I'd think $250K would be about right) and the purse goes entirely to charity. Golf is only interesting when you're playing with a purpose. There is plenty of money to be made from sponsorships or other entrepreneurial endeavors and I don't need to know anything about that as a fan of the sport. Self-enrichment isn't the interesting part of sports, the sport is. The golf industry needs to get its s*it together.
