The RIDICULOUS REASON WHY 93% of golfers CAN’T strike their irons…
This is RIDICULOUS REASON WHY 93% of golfers CAN’T strike their irons…These are my top 3 drills that will take your iron strikes from weak and with now power to the perfect iron then turf strike that you have been working so hard to get into your game
Alex Elliott Shows you Letting go of the angle in the downswing will cause you to catch the golf ball heavy & hit the ground first, this is a huge golf swing mistake & This is EXACTLY WHY 94% of golfers CAN’T strike their irons, causing them to hit the golf ball heavy, strike the ground first on iron shots and simply not get the pure downwards hit with their irons. Let me show you how to strike your 7 iron, 5 iron and 6 iron in this simple golf swing video
This video was filmed at the Dom Pedro Golf Resort in Villamora.

Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you all have had a great weekend?
I really enjoy your videos but, I don’t know if it’s just me but at times you seem to be a bit long winded.
at the range i do a similar drill to no1, but a simple chalk line works a treat! the chalk is cheap as chips and its the best training aide in the bag, period, or similarly fill a chalk square on the driving range mat, your divot tells no lies
Melted it

Now we are sucking diesel.
Great video
Excellent video!! Great teaching. Jeff
The proof is in the pudding…seeing is believing 😁 and found the center of the sweet spot. Thx for the helpful tips Alex
loved the old course stunning course
Centre punched
Anyone else noticed no matter where you go there's no blue sky anymore?
The proof is in the DIVOT! 🤘🤘
Is saying 'boof' important?
Good stuff Alex but your voice sounds funny at 2.0x replay speed😳
Very good tips. Thanks!
Proof is in the pudding to roasted.
I'm here to be shocked 🧐
Love Vilamoura and the surrounding courses Dom Pedro, Vale do Lobo and Vila Sol.
I think these concepts are fundamental to good contact. It’s also good to have options. If an amateur can get one of these moves locked in, they are going to see improvement. Great video!
Great drill. I train with the prosendr and do a very similar drill. Will ad this to the prosendr regiment.
You could say Bazinga! You could get in trouble for that one though.
"The Data's in the Divot!" I'm watching The ridiculous reason why 93 percent of golers CAN'T strike their irons. You asked for a way to say it in a different way. That's all I got! Love your lessons brother. Thank you! Cheers mate!
Too much talking and not enough systematic swing patterns. This video could be cut by 1/3 . People want system facts about where hands are , clubs should be and why people hit behind the ball . A lot of wasted talk .
I have been struggling with consistently hitting my irons lately and replying on my driving and short game to get me through the round…until now.
This first tip has changed my iron play ! Just what I have been looking for.
Great video!
Alex, the proof is not in the pudding! The proof of the pudding is in the eating! 😂 Great drill though!
Hi Alex, instead of the "proof in the pudding shot" I recommend that was a " got you shot'. Which means, that is the feeling when you hit the great shot you want to do it again and again. The shot "got you" ! The shot made you want come back to play.
good morning coach, I noticed the position of your lead foot in your swing movement, would you recommend a greater opening of the toe towards the target? what benefits are obtained? a video about it would be interesting. thanks if you answer
I’ll be taking the in bounds and the aspect of pushing the club back as my 2 new swing thoughts – they felt right for me. Some people are saying you are long winded – rubbish, getting the point over clearly and with enthusiasm is more important. Keep the great golf content coming. Alex.
Great video
