The new Cobra DS-Adapt hybrids feature an all-new adjustable hosel, the FutureFit 33 Hosel, that represents a breakthrough in golf club adjustability. The FutureFit 33 hosel includes 33 unique loft and lie settings, setting a new benchmark for the industry. Love that they have a 2-hybrid at 17* Could replace my 15* FW3. Because I hit down to much with fw.
I liked the Cobra hybrids when they had the baffler rails, these models are not so much to my taste, – the hosel with the adapter is a bit thick and spin rates are way too low: the hybrid performance was basically the same as my driver!
After saying that it might work for me with a loft of around 24 degrees as my 190-195 yard carry club but only if it has some stopping power on the green
I see that RTJ jacket Jake! Not sure if you've ever played at any of the Trail sites down here in Alabama, but they are gorgeous and equally as challenging as they are pretty.
These past videos of cobra stuff, your spin numbers seem way too low. Is that machine reading these correctly?
Thanks for the informative review, the DS Adapt hybrid looks amazing and was producing excellent numbers, I currently play the Darkspeed 17 degree hybrid in place of a 3/4 wood as a fairway finder and its my favourite club since its a low spinning rocket launcher but its also super forgiving, maybe the DS Adapt lofted down with its new adjustable hosel will be even lower spin and longer so a comparison review with the Darkspeed and King Tec hybrids would be really appreciated.
Can you test the new adapter for a hybrid build? A little higher and that would be money
For the majority of players ..33 different adjustments is crazy.. Just get fitted with clubs and grips by a certified PGA and stop chasing the next new thing
Can you adjust the hybrids a total of 2 up and 2 down in loft like the driver?
