I dont know where Wigan pulled this from given their recent form
Their Keeper had a busy afternoon didn’t he 🙄 diabolical display from us and Wigan fully deserved their revenge mission for last season! My poor son won’t forget his first Rovers match 😢

Where do I begin? the percentage between experienced old heads and youngsters was exposed this afteroon, no-one seem to have a clue! I am not going to pick out players but how do we put this right? Defending is always more important than attacking, Hunt is deemed fit where was he? If you leave Sinclair on the bench every week the young ones are not benefiting from his experience, Martin is out until Christmas! George has done a great job, but the job is not finished! UTG!
I was at the match and watching the highlights I can see we were actually worse than I thought, incredibly so!

Watch Hutchinson again & he lost his aerial duel for goal one; he lost his man for goal 2 and then just froze on the spot; he was in no man’s land for the left foot shot & lost another aerial duel in box for the 37th min corner. A truly horrendous midfielder off the ball. On the ball he put in a lovely free kick & his passing is neat. But he is one of the very worst off the ball central midfielders I’ve seen in the quarters.

I really think the board needs to admit that appointing Taylor now is a mistake…..he couldn't get anything out of the players we had when we came in…has virtually gutted the squad this summer, we still look just as bad…its not working for us, for him…according to wiki he's won 13 of 40 matches……😬😬, also I'm not convinced by Promises Omochere as our record signing tbh he's looked very ordinary, it's a bit insulting when u consider some of the players that have come through rovers that he's our record signing !!!

Ive been watching SB 1 with Latics for the past decade…..outside of the top eight on any of those seasons the standard across the division is drivel on any given game …..portrayed by the lack of ability …decision making …..lack of awareness …..all underpinned by academy players who never grow up ….. loanees who wont give up….. and foreign imports who cant go home…… most of who should have been binned off when they were 14 …..BUT they're all worth something to somebody hence the proliferation of shite THAT EXISTS IN THE PROFESSIONAL GAME FROM TOP TO BOTTOM
I was at the game and along with hundreds of other fans left straight after the 4th goal, I've never seen us play so badly without any direction it was like watching 12 players who've never met before play football 🤬
