In the eighth Paddy’s Golf Tip video in the series on helping every golfer achieve a single-figure handicap, I now move on to bunker shots, where the key is to take no more than three shots to get down. In this lesson, I provide a simple practice routine using a line marked in the sand, discuss the importance of your weight being on your left side, and some basic principles around set-up and swing path.

  1. That line drill works wonders for me & I'm a single figure golfer! I think simplicity is the key to practise! Bunkers can be fun when you've the confidence to play from them! Keep grinding lads! 💪🏼

  2. Inconsistency in the sand is what messes with me. I play a windy links course and the sand in the practice bunker is usually plentiful. Get out on the course and you'll have hard pan, soft. A whole range of lies…easier to just avoid them altogether TBH.

  3. Mr. Harrington why are you exposing me to the world like that … sitting here stuck on my 18 hcp.
I’m signing up for that new reset plan coach, keep the videos coming thank you

  4. love the channel Pádraig you walked past me after you were finished in driving range in Dublin one day in the lashings of rain and said to me 'thats some dedication to be playing in that' and in the moment I didn't realise it was you, was in disbelief hahah your such a champ please keep all the info coming just with some of your speed stuff I hit a 332drive in lep the other day so thank you !!!!!

  5. Good video. I can get it out very regularly by flying out to the hole. What I struggle with is allowing it to get on the green and anticipate it running.

  6. Absolutely gold you are giving us and thank you. I'm trying all of this and it will help my game. Met you last year at the open, you signed my son's hat on the Sunday practice day, fantastic to have met you

  7. Amazing channel, so grateful you're sharing your incredible knowledge. In the bunker, ideally, would you then catch a tad of the ball in your view?
