On the portal and qb stuff. I think its far more ideal to be developing talented guys than getting 1 year guys. I think portal qb starter guy is ideal when you evaluate what you have and guys arent panning out or they are transferring for some reason. And really portal in general seems really only as good as filling holes when you have a team you think can make a run. I like the way ND has adapted to the portal so far. I dont want to try to get 10-15 new guys every year. I think you lose out on continuity of the team compared to guys thats been working out together through red shirt years and committed to be a fighting irish guy from jump
I would have put peter warrick close to that rocket, reggie bush type level. Man, i hated how good that dude was. Lol.

Yea, mcshay did keep saying, well if they stop him running, if they stop him running. Im like well duh. What if they stop the other dudes passing? Whoever the guy that was on his show thought he was 4 or 5. And thats what McShays only point was. If he HAD to only throw. Well, id argue that they havent atopped him doing it yet, so why would i assume that.
Maybe he wasnt underrated. But one of my favorites to watch was zibbi! Tom Zibkowsky. In looking up how to spell that,lol, i see hes now coaching. Lets bring zibi onto the staff! Get coach freeman on the phone. Lol
I have never seen someone that quit on his team like TB get so much support. IMO
I find it ironic that Knight spurned ND for Auburn, at least partially, due to being able to get on the field as a freshman or sophomore and now Arnold comes in with 2 yrs of eligibility and NIL money that shows he’s probably the starter! Anyone wanna bet that Knight is in the transfer portal within first 2yrs in college?
