🦘Time to work on that vertical jump…

In this golf lesson I’m clarifying a concept to help us generate more speed and explosive power.

Often times in the downswing golfers will slide too much towards the target and as a result generate power too late in the golf swing.

The feeling here is to jump! literally jump.

In the golf swing and specifically the downswing we don’t have a lot of time to continue to load and then transition that into Club head speed.

Think LOAD & EXPLODE!

  2. I cannot do this and maintain any kind of consistency lol. Doing it wrong or just need to keep doing it?

  3. You can get great power doing this way but your head moves up and down a lot which can lead to inconsistency like Tiger Woods when he began to dip down and get stuck. He swung the best when he stayed tall like in 2000

  4. When I figured out how to use your hips right and it feeing almost like a “jump” that doesn’t lift off the ground it really really helped my driver distance and keeping it straight – I remember in highschool trying to really rotate those hips like Fowler back in the day and it just didn’t work, now that I’m grown it makes a hell of a lot of sense

  5. Highly recommend everyone take at least 1 lesson. Probably all you need unless you are god awful.

    All most of us need with some type of athleticism to get that “ah ha” moment

  6. This is what the average amateur golfer does instinctively. It shouldn’t be taught unless you’re a long driver
