Are you fed up with constantly slicing the golf ball, do you swing over the top? Then let me show you a really simple drill to help.
Most golfers tend to swing over the top of their swing plane in the downswing often caused by them moving their trail shoulder forward towards the ball in an effort to hit the ball further. All this does it make the club swing across the ball and if you can’t mange the face you’ll either pull or slice the ball.
Use this simple drill, of holding a club with your lead hand out in front of you and practice throwing a ball with your trail hand under the lead arm. This gives you the feeling of the lead should rising and the trail shoulder working downwards maintaining your shoulder tilts. Practice throwing the ball then move up to swinging the club while the feel is still there. This will improve your swing path.
