  1. We have to remember who we're dealing with. The spurs don't make any all-star trades, and comparing to Kawhi's development, I think the Spurs keep him. I think the Spurs believe in this young team, and will continue to grow them while bringing in former all-star vets like they did with Paul and Barnes.

  2. Looking at Jeremy Sochan compared to Draymond Green, a player with a similar archetype, should put things more into perspective. Through his first three seasons, Sochan is averaging more points (11.6 to 6.93), rebounds (6.1 to 5.5), assists (3 to 2.1), Turnovers (1.8 to 1.13), and field goal % (.449 to .392). Draymond is exceeding him in 3-pt fg% (.293 to .282), offensive win shares (1.03 to -.7), defensive win shares (3.53 to 2.9), and Box plus/minus (.366 to -3.3). However, sochan is positive in box plus minus this season for the first time in his career at .5. The previous seasons, the team was losing, whereas Draymond jumped into a playoff team. Looking at the numbers, I feel very comfortable with Jeremy Sochan. Draymond is an unconventional player in this league, however he thrives well. That's exactly how Jeremy is. I'm not saying the spurs should start him, but Castle has not been shooting well this season either. Start either, but don't mock Sochan's shooting abilities when Castle has been missing as well. Look at Castle's offensive stats, and it'll show he is still developing. He had some big plays at the end of this game, but he also had two big turnovers that's being overlooked because we won. That being said, Castle does have a higher ceiling offensively and I think he's quite clutch. Sochan isn't not clutch, though, as he hit a big three last season vs. the Suns and has had other significant moments down the wire. Give him time to find rhythm after his injury instead of utterly mocking him. I don't think we'll trade him, because the Spurs want to turn him into a Draymond type, who has helped the Warriors win several chips. That being said, if Spurs do something like they did with George Hill, I'm not complaining…

  3. Good riddance to Mike McCarthy. A background investigation of his past record shows he never should have been hired. He only won a SB b/c of his QB. And Dak Prescott has proven he cannot produce in the playoffs. Bad combo but Jerry Jones, a terrible GM, wants coaches he can control. That is why Belichick won't be coaching the Cowboys, unless Jones treats it like a Bill Parcells hire.

  4. The Militia Guy is back. I say "No" to trading Castle b/c Area 51 is too great a marketing tool.
Seriously, the guy is going to be a stud. Combine him with WemVP and Sochan and Vassell + two lottery picks in 2025, the Spurs will win it all in VW's third year. WemVP will be DPOY this year. Next season he will be MVP, DPOY and Spurs will have rings, and Castle will win MIP award in his sophomore season.
