In episode 2 I want to share a glimpse into my training routine as a Strength & Conditioning Coach in the Philadelphia Phillies organization. It’s because of this routine, these practices, and the consistency that I’m playing some of the best golf of my life, the swing speed is up around 125 mph, and I’m arguably (mentally & physically) the healthiest I’ve ever been.
This week’s intention:
If you had 60 seconds to share your life’s story what would you say? After you finish, if I asked you to share it again like it’s your last day on earth, what would you say?
I often wonder how amazing life could be if we all pursued our vision like today was our last day on earth.
Marcus Aurelius once said, “Think of yourself as dead. You have lived your life. Now take what’s left and live it properly.”
Man, what a beautiful world we live in, imagine the potential if we all shared this perspective.
Pursue physical challenges daily, give your very best, put yourself up for review, and ask yourself, “how will today’s difficulties reveal my character?”
Summon Bonum, as the Greeks put it means, “the highest good”. To the Stoics, it means virtue, and should be what we are aiming for in this life.
Let’s be better. Aim for virtue. Define the higher good. Master the art of living.
Pursue your vision.
And other good news: I’m excited to represent Fig Tree Golf as a brand ambassador!
