I’m a 14 hc and have never had an eagle putt opportunity in my life. 58 years old, been back playing for 2 years. Should I move up a tee box? I do have one chip in eagle but would love a few solid chances
35:30 How Dan doesn't descend into an expletive laden tirade at the ball, the hole, the green, the club, the course or the game of golf, I have no idea
Really great vid. Love you sprinkling in tips. More long form pls! 🏌🏻🙏🏻
Played this course a few years ago with Jamie Donaldson. Managed to shoot par for my Handicap but only due to his course Knowledge. Brutal but fun course
Such a great video! Even your struggling with your swing you're still manage to -1 par and the up and down scrambling for par, wow! The beauty of your short game, it's fabulous! Very inspiring.
0 dislikes thats crazy haha – this content is so good
Really engaging content. Thanks. Two great shots on #6 to the green. Sress free golf!
Fantastic video and toughest tree lined Course you could ever ask for😝. It is obvious to me you need to hit the correct sides of the trees to come in under Par💥
Awesome video and beautiful course. I can’t imagine how much wandering through the woods I’d be doing if I played here
Loved every second of this but hte Ping golf boll story really hit me! Life 🙂
That was good to watch a good scratch golfer with a world class short game battle around what looks a really difficult course. What is your personal best low score on the Duchess Course?
Great example of how tough the Duchess is,it’s so underestimated. Need to take your medicine so often if you’re not straight. Great video 😊
You can really learn a lot from dans attitude around the course. Never too high, never too low…approach each shot like a roulette spin (ie, each shot is independent from the last; each spin is independent from the last)…no hero shots or only cautious hero shots. It’s really a masterclass in “stay calm and carry on”. Great video. Really enjoy these and hope Dan keeps posting them
Really enjoyed this video Dan, more so than if you hit every shot bang on. Having just watched your video with Jake Gilmer I couldn’t help but notice you haven’t kept up with his advice though 😂.
Great coaching, thank you!
I like the way Dan talks his way through each shot. I’ve started doing that – going through the checklist of lie, club, shot, and… I’m improving rather than simply selecting a club and banging away in hope, and then realising after the poor shot what I should have done in preparation for the shot. Love the videos.😊
This is what you get when you're **THE Dan Grieve**. When he wants to play, they shut the whole course down so Dan can take his bloody time!
looks like u should stick to short game as rest of it is pretty rubbish lol😂
43:36 “you can pretty much play as bad as you want” Oh Dan, if only you knew😂
I would love to "not play very well" like Dan 🙂 Great thoughtful content, cheers Dan
Would it be possible for you to indicate what club you are using for every shot, thnaks
Course management – defo – ! Makes complete sense to think it through. – short game obv amazing – but looks like a very tricky course. Very relaxing watch.
Great video Dan! Loved the way that you talked us through your thought process. It was particularly helpful to see how you plotted your way round when your swing wasn't in top form.
Absolutely beautiful course 😍
It’s inspiring seeing you go under on a day pulling the irons. So many up and downs! Great round. I think these full rounds are just as helpful (if not more so) from a learning perspective as your short-game specific videos. Watching the thought process being successfully applied in-round is potent stuff. I’ve played golf 25 years and play to a low index yet still managed to shave 2 full strokes off since I started absorbing your short game approach. Can’t thank you enough for sharing your knowledge.
These rounds are becoming my absolute favourite to watch on YT. The course management advice and thought process is priceless. The course looks spectacular and intimidating at the same time! Lol
