  1. Every course looks exactly the same on the Garmin. Same textures, same trees etc… It's cool to be able to play any course you want though.

  2. Seems to me that the Garmin may be outputting speeds that are reading too fast. They knock down the speeds for their own green speed calculations in HTH but GSPro is treating the speeds as gospel and that explains the extra distance at a low speed.

People have to remember HTH doesn't compete with GSPro in terms of graphics detail. HTH's biggest advantage is that it has 43,000 courses compared to around 900 GSPro courses. So you can play local courses that you can't play on GSPro. I have both and I like playing both. GSPro for major courses and HTH to practice my local holes. Also not all HTH courses are the same. Some courses have more contour data and are labeled as having (Contours) in the download section. Those courses have better green accuracy than the non-contour holes.

  3. Great video on what to expect, best one around by far! (like your drive 🙂 I have not seen much videos on accuracy yet but it does seem decent for that. I just saw at 4:43 when you talk about club path, you swing a driver and the screen show a club, hopefully they will fix that in an update. Just a visual thing, but it should have been that way since the start. This said, the reason I didn't buy the device yet – lack of usb-c features on that port (no charging, no output to monitor, not possible to connect keyboard/mouse). Lack of Bluetooth pairing mouse/keyboard or a PS5/xbox controller that would be very handy to just adjust your shot/change clubs etc. without going to the screen. At this price, any modern devices should support those.
