Two words, Achilles Tear, he missed all last season, started slow, owner shows up fire everybody, brings in a experienced all star WR when they already have developing talent do they had to rework the offense multiple times, Saleh was the reason the defense was so good he got booted so they started slipping, none of this is a recipe for success
This all happened when they traded for/signed Aaron Rodgers last offseason and the nail in the coffin ⚰️ was him skipping mandatory minicamp to go on a trip to Egypt.

It messed up his legacy, he should have went off into the sunset after Green Bay. Injury and father time dont wait for no one. And when they combine together it takes alot to hide those shortcomings.
It won't, especially if he comes back or goes to a different team and does well. Brett Favre went to the Jets and had a dud season, went to the Vikings the year after, had a great year with them and was a play away from the NFC championship game.

The difference from all those QBs and other teams they went to is that none of those other teams were as bad as the jets were coaching wise and culture wise. Not even Tom Brady could change that team especially with the ownership they have there. Aaron has more tds then Zach Wilson has had all his seasons combined with the jets

I guess this would have been the same discussion if Danny played in this generation. Growing up all I heard is a QB just needs one Super Bowl. Now we’re expecting quarterbacks to have multiple. There’s always been multiple teams to run a generation to get more than one Super Bowl but I feel like Tom Brady and Mannjng set the bar so high that is almost unattainable then of course some Kermit the frog sounding guy makes it look easy. I feel like even if Josh and Lamar and borrow just got one Super Bowl people will still say well they only have one.
So is that the same thing as Shady going to other teams and "winning" Superbowls. I mean, let's be real. I agree, though that Aaron Rodgers is done but Shady didn't do anything with those super bowl teams. He went to the Bills and still didn't do anything either. Rodger’s is nowhere near as talented as Brady. Throw the ball as pretty as you like, don’t win a THING. Brady went to 10 Superbowls 😂 Rodger’s complained for 20 years and lost every meaningful game he played except 1 Super Bowl that nobody even remembers.
Defense got worse because they traded their top DE in JFM, they let their leading sack leader walk to the Eagles, traded for a disgruntled DE from the Eagles, relying too much on undrafted defensive players to fill the void. Not to mention they lost their young stud in Jermaine Johnson for the season. Now the offense is a different story
