  1. Hi Gary I got fitted for a LAB Link 1 back in May at Scottsdale golf in Warrington great service. To all the knocker’s who say they are over priced. Suck on this unless you chip in or slam-dunk your approach shot you are going to use your putter a minimum of 18 times a round!! My putter cost me just under £500 and saves me I estimate between 4 to 5 shots per round I was always a reasonable putter but now I feel I am a good putter!
Most people will not think twice about spending 6 to 700 pounds on a new driver that you will use maximum 14 times in a round of golf for a claimed extra few yards, maybe!!!??? It has been proved time and time again that improvement in one’s short game is quickest and easiest way to reduce your scores, but macho rules hit driver on every par 4 or 5 and spend hours on the range pounding ball after ball but only 5% or less of your practice time on the short game facility! Most elite tour professionals will tell you that they spend 65% on short game 120 yard and in add putting to this and it goes up to in most cases to 85%!!
Drive for show putt for Dough!! Is as old almost as the game of golf but still true!
Love my LAB putter a game changer for me!!

  2. I got fitted for a LAB DF3 with a Accra shaft and it has changed my putting, I am putting better and feel more confident over my putts and my playing partner has commented how much better my putting has been since I changed putters.

  3. As. These putters are all bespoke, what on earth is going to happen to all these putters once the fad is over, and the next air brained ideas come out. I still putt with a hickory shaft blade from 1904, putts beautifully.

  4. Wannabe artist are incorrigible at best. It rolls the ball it’s a putter. The revealer is bunk . A putter has hands on it. It’s not swinging INT fast enough for moi to really twist a face offline. If it was that much better everyone on your would use one. I went down the rabbit hole and now I putt relatively conventional after seeing utley, I’m in a different style but no crazy non sense . You’re an idiot if you are willing to spend 1k$ on a putter but are unwilling to seek out help to actually improve your technique. That’s like putting a bandaid on a gunshot wound.

  5. I’ve seen a number of putters go in your bag Gaz, hope this is the one. I think you make a valid point about green speeds. At a lot of courses in uk in winter you have to hit the ball rather than stroke through it.

  6. Spending 500 quid on a putter I wouldn’t chance on the fitting. Having been fitted for a LAB putter I can say it was worth it. There’s a lot to be said for having the putter in your hand and actually using it. I tried the mezz, link and DF3 and brought the DF3 as didn’t like the feel of the link or the mezz. As for the upgrade shaft I couldn’t feel any difference

  7. id be curious how the lie angle is calculated. When i was fit for my lab i was fit into 69 degrees. Im 5’10. you guys were all fit much higher.

  8. £400 shaft upgrade! Am i missing something here?
Just spent £130 on a second hand Odyssey and that's expensive for me. Sometimes i think the world's gone mad🤪

  9. I did the online fit. My gamer was fit at TXG, (Club Champion) in a Quintic studio. I never got that putter working and decided that spending $1200.00 on a properly fitted putter with a BGC shaft etc didn't work…so I did the online fitting with LAB and had a back and forth in detail about that fit. Basically same length and 1 deg upright from my current one. 70 deg. Instant success and a 45 year run at a figure 8 backswing is over. its a cheat code and whatever witchcraft that online fitting is, I'd trust it implicitly. Everything about these putters is amazing.

  10. You’re putting on a perfect putting mat and only made 1 out of 12 putts including some awful ones.A 20 handicapper using a 30yr old ping answer 2 would easily produce the same results. All this before you include worm casts and uneven greens. What a gimmick and a waste of money

  11. Just ordered my lab oz last week. First upgraded putter that Im gonna be using to replace my 2yo beginner strata set putter

  12. All three of you seriously need a putting lesson, you never set up to putt feet first and then set putter behind ball, all three of you toe the heck out of every putt and that’s because you are reaching for the ball. Place putter behind ball and then step in with your feet.

  13. Just here for the comments. Some reasonable debate and some absolute crackerjacks.

I did the online fitting with LAB and got a DF3 and it saved me on average (based on my last 15 rounds with it vs 15 previous) 6 putts a round. Thats way more than a new driver would save me (and cost me more) – I used to pull everything left and have very little confidence with my Scotty but the lab just feels like a point and shoot and worth every penny.

  14. The putter industry is becoming the new PT Barnam for golf. A fool and his money will so be parted. No matter how much putter "technology" advances, putting stats are the same. A good putter can putt just as well with a Wilson Augusta than with a LAB or Scotty. Most golfers have no idea how to read putts, so a well-balanced putter is worthless.

  15. I have a mezz with 1.5’ forward press – was struggling with it and went back to my Scotty with a thin grip and realized I was gripping the LAB wrong.
So my question is – is there a thinner grip with a 1.5’ degree forward press available?
Or do I keep going back to practice with my center shafted Scotty to get the grip and feel right to return to the LAB 🤦🏽‍♂️

  16. Yeah lets spend 800 quid plus to muss a putt…….rather negative i guess……but if you go full custom it could be £1800 quid again to miss a putt…..in my book thats fine if you can afford IT !!!! ❤

  17. It is not difficult to upset him. Never come across a more arrogant person dealing with customers.

  18. I’m not deliberately trying to be controversial but I have an issue with anyone be that manufacturer or Utuber who uses the term “the best”. LAB putters ARE NO BETTER than a Scotty, an Odyssey a Wilson 8802 blade or whatever. If it is the best for you then it is the best (for you). Each have different characteristics which either suit or not the individual. None are better than the other, just different.

  19. LAB fanboys having an orgasm over this video, but I still didn't see a whole lot of made putts in this video.

  20. How’d you anger him? Did you call him out for passing off a patent purchase as an independent invention? Sam has literally never created anything new in his career, he simply bought up the rights.

  21. 700 dollar putter and it does a great job of only making 1 out of 12 putts. my current putter is better than that and it didnt cost anywhere near 700.

  22. Toe up tech putters isn't Lab Putter contribution to golf.. edel golf has been doing it years before Lab. Lab got lucky from influencers then PGA pro's made them popular.. just like Scotty's clone of ping, Lab doing the same, aside from the mad ugly designs.
