My brand new electric motocross bike is powerful – First in UK! The new Surron Storm Bee has been upgraded with more power as standard so I put it to the test in a hug quarry and hit jumps, hill climbs and sand sections! Would you ride this?

This new Surron Storm Bee was dropped off and I was told it’s the first one in the UK so I rushed out for a session to see how much better it is with the extra power coming from the 104v battery! I take it to a huge quarry and get in to the thick of it riding hill climbs, jumps and fast motocross sections. I love riding the electric dirt bikes purely because you can do everything the same as a normal moto (almost) but no one can hear you and complain, it’s the dream!

Would you ride this bike?

I hope you enjoy the video!

  1. when you came off it looked like the stand came down and dug in the ground on landing might be best to remove the stand

  2. This thing is horrendously underpowered; can’t imagine how slow the old one must have been

  3. Shout out to Sam's brother. He does extremely well with the camera. He really knows how to film in a cinematic way. I think we all take hia brother's camera skills for granted.

  4. I can't imagine how fast this accelerates going downhill, my 24kgs emtb is going so fast so quickly..so no I wouldn't too epic 😅

  5. what happened to the riding spot from before that had the caravan in and use to erect the giant airbag and you built a wooden ramp to go down and then fly into the air bag.

  6. Hey Sam I think it would be EPIC if when it’s a bit dryer 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 Lewi towed you on the New STORM BEE while you were on The Canyon Stoic and MAJORLY SHREDDED THE NAR and pulled some mad as Air @the quarry 🤘🏼’n’ Ride

  7. Have you tried the Turbo button? It add's some horses to the bike for a short period of time and makes it more agile if needed. I have a 104V StormBee and i like it. Not that powerful as a Stark Varg, but its street legal and i can put Supermoto wheels on it and RIP it on the street.

  8. Hey Sam, good show as always 🙂
Watching you "stragle" with the hill, gave me an idea.
    The problem I saw was:
    Match The Bike's:
    – With Desired Angle on back wheel
    – Required weight on Back wheel for traction
    – The Power sent by the engine
    – Bike's angular momentum

And I figured you can only modulate the sent power by predetermined function (spin of handle to power).

What if you could press another button to "fire" power for 1 second and release – much faster then possible by using the handle, and you can tweak the amount of power you feel will be needed on the clime to battle the traction map.

    Exaggurating — Like a nitro for jumping between hills (car = bike , nitro = power-button, hills = mud-patches)

  9. Hello we had these at work for past year in the uk , Rmz seat cover fit and ktm front end bolt on , rear shock to rss and after about ten hours of use the battery lasts a good 2 hours , mega bike

  10. Stark varg is better it's more balanced weight distribution with more power all round better

  11. Power good but an horrible sound ….😮😮😮….i stick to 2T …sorry Sam …but i stand for combustion engine or maybe even better just pedal a standard bike … really hate that sound ….like i hate drones…

  12. If that thing has a jackshaft count me out. At least if it's as small as the lightbee bearings. Been through 2 sets now in the sand.
