Driving engagement on a platform you can’t actually withdraw the money from is probably the most fitting SGS competition of all time
That bag would look great on my logo wrapped champs tour golf cart!
It’s already been dark and wintry here in Alaska for four weeks, and SGS Year in Review is a real bright spot. Cheers!
Kevin Warren for PIF CEO
This has started a good tradition hopefully. I typically listen on my way to work in the car but have now put it on the second screen at work so I can see the added visuals.
Came for swags sports minute, stayed for the year in review.
1:08:45
Andy – “Who wants your ornament?”
Brendan – “…are you jammin’ me?!?”
😂😂😂
I’m eating one rotisserie chicken for each hour of the pod.
Brendan! Sign Juan Soto to the cubbies and let him catch!
Voluntarily watching the Majesticks documentary is truly a cry for help. Brendan and PJ should have gone directly into an intervention.
My favorite comment was Brendan: It’s November! We’re not going to be doing this in July!
Favorite comment.
“I never had a player less interested in playing professional baseball… he literally would play 36 holes every morning before begrudgingly coming to the park for batting practice.”
Episode Credits – Hosts – Brendan, Andy and PJ – Primary Content Contributors – Alan "the Mule Shepard" Shipnuck and Paul " the Cleanest Wheels in Florida" Azinger – Honourable Mention – Chick Evans, the winner of the 1910 BMW Championship (Note: BMW became a company in 1916).
Great start to the holiday season with the SGS Year in Review. Kyle McCord for Heisman. Screw Travis Hunter! I look forward to my morning drives to work Monday/Wednesday/Friday. Great job
pga tour was in it's desperado season… out riding fences
The moment at 1:09:10 reminds me of my favorite proverb: Jam not least ye be jammed..
New to the pod but have loved the IG content for awhile!
The inside jokes and nicknames keep me coming back. The bitching about your NFL and college teams during Swag Sports Minute might be favorite!
The Dayman song gets me every time. With this once an hour limit we can only hope for 61+ minute pods…
Honesty moment: I hated the YIR so much that I had boycotted the broadcast the last few years. A & B giggled so much one episode that could not hear story. I gave it an attempt this year and is pleasantly surprised to what I hear. Bringing PJ in has brought some needed structure. On episode 3, and you haven't run me off yet, so I say it has been a success for YIR '24.

Swag Sports Minute needs its own podcast. Just to piss off the folks who want nothing but the RSM in November
Boy could I sure use a golf bag. Right now I have to choose whether to look like a homeless person toting everything I own in the cart basket or a caveman lugging my primitive hunting tools around to try and take down a woolly mammoth. While it is nice to usually avoid getting paired up as a single, the derisive looks from the starter and beverage cart attendants are becoming downright hurtful. This could really class up my style and increase my enjoyment of the game.
Thirst bucket of the week goes to BP for playing golf with his own podcast’s bag
The comment is just that at 8:16am on a day in the one life I've been given on this Earth I am watching Stewart "Meat Side Down" Cink make ribs on the Golf Channel. Maybe all this crazy world needs is a backyard BBQ at the Cink household with Yasir and Jay, a little cornhole, an on-brand Mich Ultra, and vibes. Problem solved.
The fact that a rogue "Day Man" was not played when taking about Larry Klayman in Part 1 of the Year In Review, is a scandal I am not sure The Shotgun Start can recover from
My favourite Cognizant classic moment would have to be when me and by buddy planned a trip down to florida (from canada in 2022) to watch Brooks Koepka and Westly Bryan. To our surprise there was very small crowds, having never gone to a pga tour event before we assumed they were all the same (as Fedex points would suggest). Being extremely bored with the tournament we Live bet westly bryan to be group winner (a bet where he would have to have the low rd in the group). Being on 18 we watched him snap hook one off the stands left to get a free drop for a up and down birdie to secure the bet! What a great week!
Hey hey, don’t understand this YouTube stuff but know enough to think it’s good on a go forward basis
I honestly listen in 1.5x and don’t know how we are going to get to the end of the year. Good luck PJ cause this is going to be some long ones to get us over the line.
When do the "Year in Previews" start?. We want 4 hour pods speculating how each event will go this coming year.
If we don’t have PJ teeing it up on a champs tour pro am next year, what are we even doing here?
I had a post Thanksgiving ~2.5 hour drive back with my wife and about 45 minutes into it she realized she left something and we had to turn back, effectively adding an hour and half to our drive. I told her that her penance was that she had to let me listen to this through the car speakers and she wasn't allowed to complain. My favorite of the many many questions she had throughout was "who is this third guy?" and I got to recap the short but wild PJ ride.
"That sounds like a rough job"
You guys are getting owned by these commercials…need to figure out how to withdraw the fees! At least one of them on my feed lined up with Andy getting bodied by one also 😂
Dear Ma and Pa (if they haven't been shelled by the musketry of modernity),
I've come across a peculiar form of entertainment here, akin to our campfire tales. Hosts Brendan, Andy, and the younger PJ, the latter akin to our new recruits, regale us with golf stories that often detour into football. Some listeners grumble, but I reckon it's like our own mix of war stories and news from home – it all adds flavor to the stew.
Yours in the trenches of sleep-timed podcast listening,
Tobias "Toastie" Dayman
Jokingly saying to "comment your favorite Conzignant moment" and then giving me time to wash my wheels and there are still 30 minutes of Conzignant review. Like asking Brendan to pick a favorite kid, or Andy to pick a second favorite Bears QB or PJ to pick a favorite Buzzball flavor.
The wife gave me a list of things to do, but the joke's on her because we're washing the wheels today, brother.
Great pod!
Day Man has been the best part of last year. Flighter of the night man
Can't wait for SGS's 2024 Year-end review holiday giveaway: Brendan's unwanted crossknit ornament or Mrs. Fried Egg's 4th rug.
