Thanks for the review. I have just returned my SkyTrak plus for a full refund for the following reasons:
1- constantly lost connection between the SkyTrak plus and the iPad. This was even after SkyTrak support finally admitted that the tech doesn’t like mesh networks and I consequently set up a totally separate network on a hard wired access point, taking care to separate the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands as the SkyTrak doesn’t like those on the same SSID either. Still the unit constantly loses connection in both direct mode and network mode.
2- the app- what a piece of underdeveloped junk, it crashes randomly, does not follow even the most basic design standards for iOS software and whilst the features are great the usability is awful especially if you try to use it with a newer iOS device without the home button and why on earth do you have to come out of the app every time you switch between functions in the app?
3-accuracy of the readings: I found that the carry distances were pretty accurate but that was the only accurate reading that I got – and that’s available for $300 with the Garmin. The spin rates, face angle, face to path, launch angles were all way off vs a Trackman. In fact I tried to get my unit to give me an out to in and open face reading by deliberately chopping across the line with a massively open face and the reading was face angle 3 open and path inside 4 degrees !!!!
All told this is a totally underdeveloped piece of technology that shouldn’t be beyond the alpha lab let along on the market to consumers.

This is the exact sim package I’m planning on getting. My question I have is there the protective padding that goes around the frame (screen) I’ve seen some that come with it.
I just setup the 10ft SkyTrak+ studio. How did you manage to adjust the projector image? My image is much to wide.

My dad and I worked on trying to build the enclosure for about 4 hours and couldn’t do it and you did it with one person that’s crazy
Don't be fooled by the hour and a half one person nonsense. That is an absolute fantasy if you've never done one of these before. I started at 3:30 PM and took my first shot at around 3 AM – there were numerous problems from the BILT app assembly instructions being different from the written instructions causing me to tear it down and rebuild when left with the wrong piece at the very end – and many other challenges, including the provided projector not having a zoom feature – meaning you have to extend the projector pole to come anywhere close to filling the screen on a 12' model – and when you do, you'll find there is no room for a follow through swing. If you need 9' clearance minimum, why would anyone expect an 8'4" solution with a projector directly over your head or just in front of you hanging down below 8' to work? Also, those dimensions aren't counted in the marketing dimensions – which means… you guessed it, the thing likely will not fit in the space you planned after measuring carefully. A lot of nightmares here and things to be aware of. Oh, and if you do have to adjust the projector pole inward to accomodate space (and sacrifice filling the screen) where does that pole go? Well, it goes out the back – so you have to pull the whole enclosure forward since it presumably pushes you further away from a back wall – there goes your swing space. So, after purchasing this thing, I'll now have to go get a $2500 projector with the appropriate throw to fill the screen, with a zoom feature, and short throw so I can mount it on a 10' ceiling and get rid of the crummy one it came with and the dumb bar that will prevent you (at a minimum) from taking high-finish lob shots.. or you know… hitting your driver – not like I can hit a driving indoors now, because the thing has to sit so far forward that there's little room in my room left behind me – again, even after measuring carefully and leaving several feet of buffer in each direction.
