(MLB/ESPN) 2:28 Jon Miller: Back to Rivera. The Yankees have won the American League East. And the great Rivera goes Center stage to wrap it up.
(Angels/Fox Sports West version) 9:10 Rory Markas: 1-2 to Kinsler. Santana. Groundball to Figgins. That's It! The Angels have won 3 Straight American League West Titles. And Ervin Santana shuts out the Rangers to win the West.
(Yankees/YES Network) 23:57 Michael Kay: The 0-1. Groundball. Knocked out by Farnsworth. Goes into Foul Territory… And The Yankees Win. The Yankees Win on The Longest Infield Single. Scoring is Hinske and the Year of the Walk-Offs Continues, They've Done It Again. Yankees Win 4-3, Their 15th Walk-Off Win and their 50th Come-From-Behind Victory.
It was very satisfying as a Yankee fan to watch them defeat Boston for the division title after losing eight straight to them to begin the year. That was so infuriating cause I knew the Yanks were better than Boston that year and the Sox had no business just dominating them like they did. Poetic justice in the end though; Yankees beat Boston 9 of the next 10 meetings to draw even at 9-9 overall for the year.
Braves are almost done in the NL Wild Card race, with the Rockies almost guaranteed the NL Wild Card with five days left
As for the Dodgers = Dodgers had a 13 game lead in the loss column over the Rockies at one point in the season in the NL West division.
And after Tuesday September 29, the Dodgers lead is now down to 3 games in the loss column, and both teams face each other in the final 3 games of the regular season.
Dodgers do have the tiebreaker over the Rockies, due to their domination of the Rockies in 2009, as they are so far 12-3 in 15 games against them, with 3 more games to go.
But the Dodgers have at least clinched the NL Wild Card already, so they are in no matter what happens this final week in the regular season, and the Rockies only focus at this point is clinching the NL Wild Card.
And the Rockies can still get the 1-seed in the NL, as unreal as that is to believe.
And this is not like the 2006 NL Central-NL Wild Card scenario between the Tigers-Twins, with the division winner avoiding the elite-lineup-Yankees in the first round, and the Wild Card winner having to face the elite-lineup-Yankees without homefield in the first round, since the 2009 NL Wild Card winner will get either the good-but-not-elite-Phillies in the first round or the good-but-not-elite-Cardinals in the first round.
– Both the Phillies and the Cardinals have both won their divisions, and both are only playing now to get the 1-seed in the NL. The Dodgers currently have the 1-seed in the NL after September 29, with the Rockies still having a chance at the 1-seed as well
– Things are getting interesting in that weak AL Central division (Tigers-Twins)
– Yankees won their 100th game when they 3-game-swept the ROX, and clinched the AL East division. Yankees have also clinched homefield throughout all 3 playoff rounds. It was also their first 100 game winning season since their trio of 2002-2003-2004 (and 1998)
– RSOX have also made the postseason for the third consecutive season, as they have won the AL Wild Card.
– So it will be RSOX-Angels for the fourth time in the playoffs this decade and their fifth overall matchup in postseason history (1986-2004-2007-2008-2009). Lets see if the Angels can finally break their "RSOX Curse" or if the Curse continues for them after the 2009 playoffs.

9:10 RG3 out for the season. Crazy seeing an RG3 reference in 2009 and unfortunately for an injury as well.
