This video covers an incredible Drill that ensures the right arm is working correctly in the golf swing. Harry talks through the setup, takeaway, backswing and downswing covering all the checkpoints that make this 5 minute drill like no other. If you’re not doing this, you’re wasting your time at the driving range as I guarantee that just doing this drill for 5 minutes beats 1000 hours at the driving range!

Please do a video on the impact position and any drills for it because I had an excellent contact position until I took a few lessons and have not been able to find my swing since
You didn’t show us what is the 5 minute drill!!!
Course waterlogged so I tried this at the range. Amazing results- hopefully try on the course tomorrow
Nice one. Spending hours at the range is pointless if your swing is rubbish!
Does this apply to driver as well? Thanks
Well done…
I can not believe how much this helped me! I've had the wrong right hand grip for years. That changed today. Thank you!
love this im going to the range rn to try u earned another subscriber thanks for the tips
Hello Harry, I have a question. I'm a right handed golf player. I write with my right hand. But then it gets tricky: I throw a ball, or skim stones with my left hand. I play soccer with my left foot. And throw a ball with my left hand/arm. So I have al these things working differently. I know the feeling of skimming a stone, but not with my right arm. Which is often reffered to in golf. How can I find this feeling in my trailing arm being a "lefty". THanks!
Can you give a video where you’re looking from the front point of view so we can see how the hands pass the body or the the left toe because it’s always angled from back or side but in reality a lot of people tend to try to bring their hands straight down the line when we know your hands have to go back in. It’s a reinforcement if we can see it from a front angle point of view, if that makes sense
WOW, I can't believe what a difference this has made. My contact is solid, ball flight is more penetrating. I've gone from hitting a slight fade to a baby draw. Thank you!🎉
Great explanation of getting the trail arm in an externally rotated position. This helps a lot. Excellent video, thanks!
Years ago an unqualified golf instructor had me place a head cover under my right armpit and said it shouldn't fall out during the swing…..similar to what you are explaining here. After that I developed the worst case of the shanks and had to go to a qualified golf instructor to fix that. What was I doing wrong?
Nice job of explaining!
Excellent! Subscribed.
Vid is too long
This is going to sound stupid does this help with all clubs? To get better contact?
I am loving the example of skimming a stone, very well explained!
Great advice Harry and something that I have struggled with, for could do the backswing but always struggled to get the elbow forward in the downswing. Also could you do something on the release, for is it a throw for I seem to hold on and don’t get a full release. Have now subscribed. 👍
Left arm through the swing. Thanks!
Love it… it’s a move Im working on but I’ll add some of these feels/thoughts…
Thanks for the video was easy to follow.
Hello Harry. Thank you for the well demonstrated intention of the down swing. So I have tried this repeatedly and my question is: with the elbow being thrown inwards towards to my body as if skipping a stone does centrifugal force and natural forces direct the club head to the ball or is there an attempt by me to fire the club head to assist all of the other forces. Look forward to your reply and thanks again for your explanation.
Nice
Thanks, great explanation and it works for most golfers. Keeping the right elbow in towards the body and avoiding the chicken leg at top of swing solves consistency problems.
Great tips
Great video! Thanks! I hit the ball much better thinking about the right elbow, but I didn't know how to do it correctly. Will work on this!
Better to refer to the "TRAIL" arm. Lefties play too you know. 🙂
There ya go! LOL
thank you great video
Ok now this is new to me. Im a detail nerd so even though one swing doesnt suit all i still like to know a solid best practice and ive not seen this before.
Ill have to try this out and get a feel for it
