I'm giving away a set of these wedges to a lucky subscriber. Enter here: https://forms.gle/GUfyMrs83yQxPXXJ7
I'm a bit of a toe striker myself. Not that I can't hit the sweet spot, but that I prefer to stay well clear of the hosel, just in case. Clubs with the sweet spot about 1/2" out from the center would work better for me.
Maltby does have club pak wedges "Fully Assembled clubs" but the wedges are limited. The wedge you are playing must be am older special release? Maltby deserves more love for sure. I have their hybrids and they perform VERY well. . Thanks for the review!!!. I have a 54 degree Maltby wedge and love it.
Man I just got the Kirkland signature 2 wedge set because of the price and value mabe I should of got maltby they look alot cooler I live in Canada so I can't use my Kirkland wedges until May
been looking at these wedges. be great to win a set! thanks!
Wedge paks are available on the website. I have this wedge in a 60degree.
Have a Maltby chipper…people always curious to try out when they see it…super club for me
Hey Gabe they do paks on the second page of the paks for wedges. You’ll find all their wedges on that second page iirc. I have a 60 degree max milled pak and it’s the best damn wedge I’ve had.
Once again your timing is perfect on my need! Thanks Gabe! If I win great, but if not I’m buying!!
I’d love to play these clubs. Such a great value but only have one lefty option in the irons and wedges and it’s not the type I would use. If the lefty selection gets better I will definitely look to get my next set from Maltby. Great video!
Always struggle with less than full shots with wedges. I'm interested in new wedges, maybe I need to give these a try. Not sure if I can get them in Canada?
Got the 52* .90 and the 1.05 58* with my ts3s. Youre on point as usual. I think the original Maltby wedge, the TSW are a bit softer and traditional, but these are more forgiving and spin better due to the closer milled grooves. I added 6 grams (3 swing weights) to each head by changing weights to get them to play d6. Love getting my thoughts confirmed. Another great vid ty stu and Play through
Gabe as always, thanks for the awesome review! I had a feeling that you might get along well with these wedges. I've mentioned it before, but just like the infamous Jules and Vincent from my favorite movie, these guys are my gangsters! They do my dirty work, they keep me safe, and they simply just get $hit done!
I have maltby iron,s maltby wedges sounds great 👍🏿
Thanks to you I bought a 58 degree and really like it so will replace others when needed.
They will shaft and grip them.
I got the Maltby TS1–IM a few weeks ago. Love them.
I’m looking at getting a hybrid now
Love that the screws can manipulate the weighting on these wedges.
I've put a 1 gr lead tape strip in aproximately the same position of my wedges, as I tend to shut the face a little too much.
I then don't use tape on P to 7, and a 1gr lead strip on my 6 to 4 Irons near the heel, as I tend to push those a little.
It'll probably have to do with ball position but this helps me a lot coming straighter through the ball throughout the bag.
They do have the wedge packs
Ive got a vokey and the tw grind lob wedge, it looks like those would compete easily to get in the bag!
Do they make single length?
Just put those Max Milled in my bag a few weeks ago. Other than my driver and putter, it's all Maltby now 🤷♂️
I am really happy you and many other reviewers are talking about DTC brands. They are filling a much needed product/price gap.
I’m very stuck between which width to go with in a 50, 54, 58 combo set
Gabe…you come across as a genuine guy!!
Not only does Maltby have wedge paks as several others have said you can select the custom shop option and get many more combos and most for less than $100 all built to spec. I just ordered a TS3 test 5 iron through the custom shop. Now to be sure it cost more per club than ordering a pak but I wanted a different shaft and it was still just $92 a club which is far better than the $200 to $220 a club from other major OEM manufacturers. And, yep, the TS3 is every bit as good as you said it was. Better feel and more distance than the loft difference alone would suggest over my old TE Forged for sure. I've played Maltby clubs off and on for two decades and never been disappointed. I've built my own clubs for a long time as a fun hobby and still tinker but when I can have Maltby do it for free and get the setup I want without the major OEM expense that's a deal in my book.
Been playing Golfsmith (remember them?) and Maltby for many years now, I wondered when golf component sources would begin to get their due. There are others but Maltby definitely one of the best. And – at prices then cannot be beat.
They do sale the packs. I have a 52, 56, and 60. Love them!
I have a max milled in 56 and a tsw in 52. I like the extra grooves and heft to keep me more stable on the short shots, but prefer something a little smaller on fuller shots. Both are fantastic and both put sone great spin on the ball. I also have the ts1 im set as well, and 3,4,5 maltby hybrids. Alll great clubs, and if u live near Columbus like I do, you can go to golf works and swing any one of them and also sign up for a custom fitting. Best money ive ever spent.
I’ve been gaming a set of the max milled 50,54,58 for about 4 months and I don’t see myself playing a different wedge anytime soon! These are incredible
I have these same wedges. They are really good. I would have liked to see some more bounce options in their wedges.
Thanks for sharing! I'm a long-time subscriber and really enjoy your content. I bought some Legato golf balls on the black Friday sale. Was able to play a round with them today and was really impressed. They truly play like a premium ball. I played the same 2 balls all day and they held up great. I didn't notice any scuffs and I know I hit at least one tree! 😊
I just replaced my Vokey SM7 Wedges 48 56 and 60 with Vokey SM10 Wedges 50 56 and 60. I don't care what anyone says they are the best.
I've been using the 54 for about a year. Best wedge I've ever owned.
Awesome content. These would replace my old Lazarus wedge set perfectly…
rwc royale with cheese
They look great! Wish you were giving away the custom ones though lol. Love Pulp Fiction. ❤️⛳️🏌️
I’m due for new wedges hmmm?
