WE LOVE COACH HURLEY!!
#UConnNation 💪🏾
Hurley might have a diagnosable mental health problem. His behavior is way outside the norm…and beyond the outer exterior of abnormal. Seriously, get the man some help ❤ 🙏
Mad respect for UConn, really great program there and Coach Hurley is really good, but would be on the shortlist of coaches maybe, yes…but any number of coaches out there that can build and more importantly sustain programs.
yall just making up story lines. The Uconn fanbase loves Dan Hurley.
Well given the cheap fouls they called on UConn, the treatment Sampson Johnson got, and it just got absurd. Solo Ball gets called a foul when a guys elbow hits him in the face? The over the back on Liam? If you watch the game, there are unquestionable biases by the refs for what Memphis got vs what UConn got. That makes the game dangerous and Hurley had every right.
It's overboard. Every team gets bad calls throughout the year. It's embarrassing.
Hurley reminds me of Bob knight. Will he repeat Knight’s sins? Both are hot heads but I would say Dan has a bigger ego and Knight was more of a bully.
If anyone should be sat down and talked to, it’s the refs in Maui. Some of the worst officiating of all time. Can’t blame Hurley for losing it, those refs were appalling.
Hurley was right regardless. No uconn fan is turning on him. Fake news at it again
Coaches in general need to be reigned in. Refs have let it get way out of control. On multiple occasions last year we had coaches literally playing defense in live games (Shaka, Hurley, Buzz, Cal, etc.) and none of them received technical fouls or ejections
I love Gary!
Hurley has serious mental problems, no rational person acts that way.
You focus on Hurley but no comment of the refs. Lmao. The reffing in Maui has been a JOKE. Certain refs still have it out for him especially the puerto rrican ref who is clearly on steroids.
Maybe it’s cuz the refs jobbed him for two games straight. UConn hasn’t been called for that many fouls in many years .
Hurley made a MASSIVE mistake by not taking the "cream of the crop" job at Kentucky. BUT, thankfully he didn't, because, we have a coach who actually LOVES KY and will be a long time winner there (Coach Pope). Go BIG BLUE!!!.
Ucon nation adores Dan Hurley. Newsflash, he’s been this way for five years. He’s an animal. That’s why he’s one of the best college basketball coaches ever.
hurley is insane, but I do think the fear of fouling in the colorado game changed their mindset defensively. how does a high major team get that many foul calls?
He is a spoiled brat who was handed everything and never told no.
Shocking that he cries like an infant.
First off lets be clear the officiating was shit! That being said as a lifelong Uconn fan Hurley needs to chill out. Officials will make bad calls it happens but when you start getting the rep hes getting the refs are going to stick it to you. Its a fact, theyre human and will do so to send a message. When your behavior starts effecting your team on the court you are becoming a problem. Its hard enough to win without sabotaging yourself. Dan needs to chill out.
I’m a big UConn fan and love Hurley’s passion, but his antics in this Maui Tournament have been a bit of an embarrassment for Dan. Okay he’s not happy with his team’s performance and the officiating but to be falling on the floor like a two year old little boy was ridiculously immature. This is not an example that a College Coach should be handling himself and as a role model for his players. I was concerned about his mental state this past summer when he started to divulge his issues and his struggles. He has to learn to handle his emotions more properly without acting like a child.!!!!!!
Kentucky fans be calling him the Connecticut Nut job 🤣🤣🤣
Our Coach Mark Pope doesn’t act like a lunatic when we get a bad call
He is control at home by his wife so he takes it on the court to release his mind
Believe me if he had control at home he would be at Lakers
Well, it was a perfect setup for them to lose 3 in a row and that's exactly what happened. Yikes.
,,,,,,,,
It's simply not good for the game. It is a bad example of how to face adversity in the world. He is the leader of a group of young men, and every game he is teaching them to lose their temper when things go against them. My opinion is he is obviously a great coach, but that is true despite his on-court temper not because of it.
this is sucha bs narrative. they won back-to-back titles with these antics. the fact of the matter is that they aren't playing basketball well atm.
Entitled behavior. Always been this way. Had coaching golden platter from his family. Brat. Good coach, but immature. Glad he isn’t my coach.
Acting like a spoiled 5 year old isn’t fixing anything
You guys hit the nail on the head, Hurley can't do what he did nor can he say what he said in those games, you have to be composed as a coach or your team won't be either. The boys lost it and then came back in the second half against Memphis, but not Colorado where they never actually had it. The good thing is they have time to fix the faults like they did 2 years ago when they struggled until the NCAA tournament when they finally got their footing. Question is though, will they?
Tuff truth for Dan Hurley is he can't take things personally when calls don't go his way because it's like what Seth Greenberg said, his antics cost the team a win against Memphis when he got his second technical. At some point he'll have to choose what's more important, his temper or coaching.
Dannyboy needs to pop a couple of Xanax before the game.
It’s cute when you are winning everything and “over the top” obnoxious when losing. The antics are one thing that I have never like about Hurley. Calhoun could pull it off…Hurley isn’t “blue collar” enough to get away with it. The team needs plenty of work…suck it up and coach them harder….die hard 40 year UConn fan here.
Look at UCONN fans making excuses for him….which is even more sadder
Classy Coach Anthony Grant and his incredible bunch of scrappy Flyers shut Hurley up but good in the last game in Maui!!
Funny thing is he’s the more calm mature Hurley brother. Bobby is even wilder.
It's genetic. The Hurley brothers are two peas in a pod.
So let me get this straight when we're winning and winning championships his sideline antics is laughed at and overlooked but because we're losing now his sideline antics is hurting the team men be real with yourself the last I checked then Hurley's antiques is the reason why we have two national championships in two consecutive years that man is the backbone and the fuel of this team nothing less I fully approve of his antics because he doesn't disrespect anyone in the process he might go crazy and might fly off the wall but I never seen coach Hurley disrespect another coach disrespect a referee or disrespect any of his players so I don't care if the man screams till his face is purple let that man blow mountain Downs with that booming voice he has we Connecticut people are in seek of a third national championship let's goo HURLEY LETS GOOO HUSKIES 💪🏾💯
This year in college basketball has kicked off and im SO ready for this season!! We are back! Go GREEN!
Lol he needs to be Dan Hurley and you guys need to find a better clickbait subject
The guy is mentally unstable and needs help in some way.
