  1. So I have an issue where I start the round with a draw but start to push shots out to the right towards the end of my round. It feels as if when my body loosens up, it ends up racing past my arms on the downswing which leaves the clubface open at impact. Going to try this drill next time on the range 🤞

So fired up the sim and tried this drill, WOw! What a difference! By keeping the chest down and turning the hips I felt the release and the torque I felt on the finish was amazing.

  2. I like the sound of keeping the back turned away facing a ball behind. To be clear: you want the ball behind you to be on the ball to target line? When I've done disassociation drills I find it works best when I think about the lower abs or obliques pulling behind me in a straight line forces type of way as opposed to the hips themselves. Is there any reason you can think of why abs or obliques wouldn't be a good area to think about for the disassociation?

  3. Appreciate that guys in the clinic are willing to front the camera and figure out the instruction. Inspiration for mere mortals working on the same issue. Many thanks.

  4. It is absolutely the hardest thing to learn in golf, but once you get the feel, you will need to practice the sequence over and over. It's all about timing. And don't swing too hard.

  5. I think everyone should turn their back to the target, hit one, then face the target and try to hit one. You’ll see it’s almost impossible to hit the ball while facing the target but so much easier when your back is to the target. Great lesson

  6. I shot 76 in a round three years ago with 3 birdies. My only swing thought was keeping the back towards target and swing the club under my lead armpit. And I wasn’t sure if that’s the right idea but it worked.

  7. @porzak golf. I understand this swing thought. I think both do work though, you just have to pick which one. Milo lines for example teaches the swing you say is bad and he hits it a mile and straight

  8. Great video great drills but my advice (having only taught 2 people!) would be to use a Tee Peg to start with, being a reasonable player im lucky enough to do these drills without Fear of Ball Contact but most will need a tee peg as i have found out teaching step drills etc to newbies

  9. I saw this in a previous video of yours (putting a ball in the periphery behind me) and used it at the range last time I went (admittedly 4 weeks ago now!) it massively helped ❤

  10. I'm 48 and constantly wondered why my swing got more on plane as the round went on. Well I get there 15 mins prior to the round and putt. That does nothing for my hips or get my body looser. I'm finding it easier to disassociate after I stretch a little bit and take some half swings with a small bucket on the range. I wonder if Adam has a pre-round routine for us 40 to 50 year old's to get warmed up before tee off?

  11. You are my only teacher that has helped online, and i searched this feel 22hrs after you uploaded unprompted 😂, you simplified swing thoughts have helped unbelievably, the laser from the chest center to the hands has been a revelation

  12. I always had this problem, but what was shocking to me when watching myself was how prevalent and noticeable it was even when i was hitting little 25 yard pitch shots. This makes a lot of sense to me now because I definitely focus on all body turn! Thanks for a good explanation.

  13. I learned originally from Hogan's book, where it is hands, arms, shoulders, hips on the backswing, and then reverse, hips, shoulders, arms hands, on the downswing. Clearly this is not the same as what is being taught here! I am wondering what the shoulders are really doing on the downswing, other than holding the arms?
