So I don’t feel guilty at all when it comes to being a Dodger fan. Just look at attendance records over the last few decades. You’ll find the Dodgers have the loyalist fans of any MLB franchise. They deserve “super teams”.

Edman wasn’t even suppose to start in the postseason. Only reason he played was because Miguel Rojas got injured.
at this point, what kind of player who don't want to stay in Dodgers? even if dodgers defer some of their salary, those players don't mind it as long as they are part of the best team.
I love Tommy’s game. I do. This extension is weird though. Edman was signed thru 2025. They could have waited, and give time to see what they have in Rushing, Pages, Outman and Lux.. Edman is a $15m a year player? Really? Team friendly?
Man I loved eddie when he was on the cards, and thought he was so underrated. Glad he is finally getting the respect he deserves.

The dodgers can gamble on players because they have unlimited money. Maybe 3 or 4 other teams have near the money coming in that the dodger do. Stop saying any team could sign the players they do.
Money well spent now we just have to trade Chris Taylor already and bring back Theo. Plus don’t bring back Kershaw he’s a dodger legend but it’s time for him to retire. I think this also puts a kike reunion from not happening.

After the Dodgers were legit cheated out of two World Series (Astros in 2017 and Red Sox in 2018), I honestly do not have a problem with the Dodgers loading up their roster and winning multiple WS.

I do believe it’s 100% true that any team can defer money but I do believe that the best way to build baseball is consistent competitiveness that really destroys the MLB is lack of proper ownership and true owners that want to build the team but I think it’s also fair to acknowledge that Last year in 2023 a team like the Rockies,A’s,etc., offered Shohei Ohtani $700 million deferred that he would not go to those teams because those teams aren’t championship built. I do believe that a good bass a good team and then adding on the $700 million Really helps.

i wear my edman world series jersey with pride. My favorite dodger right now. His mostly defensive role on the team, his nlcs mvp, and his general play off performance are proof positive that he found where hes supposed to be, and that you dont need to be a superstar to be extraordinary. I was so happy that the dodgers saw what i saw, and gave him the extension he very rightfully earned.
For at least the last two years I heard that the Dodgers were interested in Tommy Edman.

Tommy Tanks is a core player. I’m so happy we got him extended early so he can focus on ball and not where he’s gonna play.
nobody really wanted edman when he was available at the trade deadline. he hadn’t played at that point in the season due to injury and he already had an injury history

Yeah, Edman is going to be the next Turner, or at least Kike/Taylor. An under the radar guy who we keep around and even w all the stars, it's another guy who is just consistently there for us playing all around the field. Ik everyone is mad at the Dodgers for spending a lot of money the past 4 years but remember, 2013-2020 it was the quiet guys that kept the team afloat that whole time.

Honestly, I think any of the NL playoff teams except maybe the Brewers would have taken the ship if the Yankees played the way they did. It probably would have gone 7 games instead of 5 but still.
Almost every dodger can play multiple positions, that is insane. Of course the biggest one is the one who can pitch and hit.
