This sounds like Jersey Shore gone bad! Prayers for the family🙏
Her father is very weird.
She and every other driver who when kills when under the influence of any substance, goes to jail for no less than 50 years
Oh my goodness! Thank you for covering this case, it’s crazy and so awful!
Are we still covering this trial?
That’s why she is like that because her daddy supports everything that she does… this case is so sad, this woman needs to go to jail for long time…
Her dad makes me sick
Is this not meant to start today ?
Send this dad some parenting literature. He is so off I cant stand it. Thanks G
How many of us think Daddy O is paying off the boyfriend to keep “Sweetie “ happy?
Hey, Gisela, we were wondering if you intended to cover the Stephan Sterns jail poem as some others had mentioned. We love your videos so much.
Ive been following this since this girl choose to get drunk and drive. And kill a bride and almost kill her husband. I don’t think her Dad (the killer)is enabling her here, i think he’s trying to keep her positive because shes a hot mess
She deserves to go to jail for longer than 15 years! This isnt about you Jamie. You entitled little brat.
The victims family specifically asked everyone use her maiden name.
My 22 year old daughter, who has never left the country, is from TX and going to Switzerland for Christmas!
Law and Crime is covering this today at 12:30
Thank you for doing this case this is where I’m from and it was so sad ty❤
That drunken fool is so disgusting. She doesn’t care about her victims. Daddy’s little sweetie is a pathetic POS.
The chills that came over me when hearing that the mom said, "Sam didn't make it"
I HATEEEE this girl. She's a spoiled brat and she's GROSS! She should get LIFE! Bye, Felicia 🤨
She is nothing but trash. Not to bring up race but I swear her disgusting face she be next to the definition of a repulsive entitled, rich,
pretty white girl" 🤮😒 Which btw she is none of those things but with enabling parents and daddy's money, I'm sure that's exactly what she thinks she is.🤨🤮😡🤬
I have waited a long time for this one, justice for Samantha ❤
"Their top notch. Their hot to trot" 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮 Daddy is gross too.
51:00 She's planning her life before trial.
I am not sure if one can obtain a special permit for driving after sundown, but in SC, a golf cart may not operate after sundown. They do have lights but the rule is there for reasons such as this. I'm not saying the drunk driver should get off free, but it has to be said, the golf cart was probably operating out of legal limits.
I don't know about a plea here but there is not always a plea deal offered, times there are conditions on it and its not met so goes to trial. Then there are plea deals that do not get accepted/trial. I have seen one where for the type of crime and priors the new assistant DA had given the farm. The judge was fuming. He then said this case is going to trial and he scheduled it. Judge reserves the right to accept or deny anything that comes before him. So you will not always see a plea deal offered.
I didn't realize they are from New Jersey. Are her parents separated or divorced? Is she a SC resident? Let me tell you how much the locals hate folks from up north, and it's not getting any better.
I know this isn’t what people want to hear but DUIs are an extremely common occurrence. Every person in the US probably knows a dozen people with a DUI because there’s millions of Americans with DUIs. People get a slap on the wrist for a DUI and they continue driving as if nothing happened. I have a coworker who has three of them..another one has two. Jamie isn’t any more of a threat to society than any of these other millions of people. When Jamie was arrested she most likely sat in jail with a bunch of other people who were arrested for DUI that same night and that’s probably what she was referring to when she said “why did this have to happen to me”. They’re all back to driving and living their normal lives now but she might get 25 years in prison even though she’s not at more fault than any of them…she caused an accident but that’s just the luck of the draw. It’s just weird to me how I could get a DUI tonight and still make it to work tomorrow and continue driving my vehicle but if I get in accident instead then I could get life behind bars. It’s just a coin flip because an accident is just that..an accident. If people actually want to prevent this kind of thing then the penalty for everyone driving drunk needs to be increased. Incarcerating Jamie will have no effect on anything.
Driving a golf cart, don’t stand a chance in a golf cart. Not much to them. Especially against a speeding vehicle. Do golf carts have head lights and tail lights? The road isn’t that wide and it is dark at night. Was the road well lit? This Jamie with her driving record excessive speed – more than once, don’t they withdraw driving rights for this? The bars she went to should also stopped serving her. They should be charged.
❤
This happened in my hometown. Negligence caused my favorite place on folly to close down, and I haven’t been down to the beach here since this happened… snapper jacks was my home away from home and my folly family there meant the world….
She got total of 50 years 🎉
I can't believe she got so little serve time
Something that happened to her…um excuse me dad, she caused this it didn’t just happen to her.
I am a 31 year old woman and I struggled with a drinking problem from 18-23. When I was 19 I wrecked my car drunk. I was the only one in the car and nobody else was involved thank god. The only thing seriously hurt was my car. This being said, I find myself with a shread sympathy for the perpetrator as I know that I've made very similar bad choices in my past, I just got lucky and she didn't. But I am appalled by her lack of remorse and selfishness she is showing in her jail phone calls… she deserves to face the consequences of her actions and I hope she can come out of this with some empathy and maturity
she was sentenced to 25 years in prison
