If you want to know how to eat to stay lean year round, then there is a simple method that I use myself that I think you can benefit from too. Remember, to lose weight and get lean, you need to maintain a calorie deficit. The best way to do this is by giving yourself an eating strategy that will set you up for success.

I always say, if you fail to prepare, then you prepare to fail.

How does that relate to your diet and nutrition? Well, preparing your foods ahead of time can set you up for long term weight loss success. The easiest way to do this is to buy your food and prepare it in bulk. This means that you will have every meal planned out and ready for you when you need to eat.

This will ensure that there are no slip-ups in your eating habits if you are lacking time to cook your food on that particular day. The way I do this is by ordering from a catering menu from my local grocery store, Stew Leonard’s.

If you purchase your food from the catering menu, you will have all the food you need, already prepared, in bulk. Just portion out your food and freeze it so that when it’s time to eat, all you have to do is heat it up. This is a game changer for anyone trying to lose weight or get lean and struggles with preparing their food each and every day.

This is a proven method for staying consistent with your nutrition and making sure that you can achieve those lower body fat levels you’ve been fighting for. That consistency will also make sure that you stay lean year round.

  1. You guys would bitch about the second coming of Jesus Christ..leave that man and his fridge alone. If you don’t have a $5k fridge- drive your asses to California and grab 2 on loot..that way you have one and can sell the other one which will pay for your trip..😉😬😃

  2. So true! Prepare in advance for the days you feel lazy. We're at the end of our grocery budget for this month… have been for a few days. But because of some preparation part week, we should be good till next month's budget kicks in. And hoping that next month I'll be able to make our budget go even further. Taking care of my family of five is a challenge I fully embrace.

  3. I love him. When I started my weight loss journey, he was the first athlete that I followed and watched to learn from him❤❤

  4. This will get the very best results but you don’t have to make it this strict and plain to still get good results

  5. You don't need those potatoes, veggies, nuts and seeds or fruit to stay lean or build muscle. Just go carnivore (the proper human food). I've put on more muscle in 6 months than in my twenties, now benching 245 (never even benched 225 prior to carnivore, Max was 180). Watch, plants are trying to kill you by DR Anthony Chaffee.

  6. Or you could just eat meat, it’s easy you feel good, if you need a quick meal you can get quarter pounder patties from McDonald’s. it is not this hard. I really like some of Jeff’s tutorials but sweet potatoes should not be a regular part of your life. Meat is food everything else should be used very moderately for flavor
