  1. A very enjoyable and expert demonstration of these premium wedges, which better players will find particularly helpful. None of them would disappoint. As a mid handicapper, it would be interesting to see how the less premium models from Callaway, Cleveland and Ping in particular, perform.

  2. Clean your wedges before the next shot not after your last. That way you have the option of the ball ripping back or sitting where it lands depending how much shit is on the face 😊

  3. I clean my grooves after every shot whether on the range or the course. I have a small brush for cleaning your fingernails. Stiff nylon works best. Keeps the clubs mint for a long time. It’s even more important if you play in Florida or other areas with sandy turf.

  4. From a fitting perspective is there. Big problem going with a 56 and 58 Vokey. I don’t plan on hitting full shots with the 58k and have used a 56 for decades and didn’t wanna dip down to 54

  5. I actually love watching these videos. But I wonder, I use the Cobra MIM wedges, I love my 60, if I were to pick up a Vokey 60 same construction and shaft would it matter? I mean I'm next to the green with a bunker to go over some room but not much so I open up the 60 and hit a flop just over the bunker, would it matter if I use the Cobra or Vokey?

  6. I wipe my clubs and clean the groves after every shot on the course but I've never noticed any playing partners do the same.

  7. I found mg4 jumpy. My wedge game is the best part of my game. Had a hard time controlling the mg4. So they didn’t last in my bag

  8. Brand does not matter

Only thing that matters are that the grooves are fresh

    Second is bounce

Just buy new older version wedges to save half the price of 2024 models

  9. JP Camber… more attainable price point than the customs, and certainly fully forged with great feel. Maybe do a video with some of the “non-big boys”…

  10. Valuable insight as usual. Ian, any chance you would consider doing an episode on how to leverage a launch monitor for indoor practice during the winter off season? You mentioned during one of the speed training sessions about a year ago that you enjoy the challenge of practicing and refining your skill sets in golf almost as much as being on the course. There are lots of options to spend time refining your golf game with a launch monitor/simulator set up and it’s very difficult discerning how to get the best ROI on time spent on the endeavor. I can’t think of anyone to provide more value to your followers (including me) on the channel regarding this subject than you! Please consider it.

  11. Half the towel is soaked before each round. Not only do I clean my grooves after every shot but the second I get home they get a bucket of water and a full cleaning lol
