  1. I have a df3 for about 6 weeks and can confirm it is definitely a far better putter than my scotty phantom 7.5. 10ft and in I nearly can't miss, undoubtedly a game changer

  2. Mezz 1 for me. Been playing it over a year and its removed alot of my 3 putts. I am totally sold on the Science and bit by bit so are the Pros on tour. I see Phil is rocking a Mezz 1. Great video and exactly what was needed.

  3. How LONG before this tech is banned by the powers that be? For some reason golf likes to ban hammer stuff real quick in the putter space

  4. Probably best to say now it’s reduced or minimal torque. Really no such thing as a true “zero” torque especially on the follow through stroke.
Even on the revealer it’s anchored on the balance point but that’s not wear we hold it

  5. I like the Mezz designs better than the DF designs too. All the parallel lines help me with alignment… like a triple track on the putter.

  6. Did you do any kind of fitting for your LABs or just go with stock that felt good compared to your previous putters? I feel like this is a huge component of LAB that’s going unmentioned in this review (prob bc it’s sponsored by GG).

  7. Wait. If you’re making all the putts with the DF3, you shouldn’t be able to use the ball picker-upper … 😂 I think they’re cool, I’m sure they work, but they are waaay out of my price range (full disclosure – I still have my beloved Callaway Tuttle in my bag).

mygolfspy tested the LAB putters against other mallet and blade putters and found the LAB is a better putter from most distances.

With PXG releasing the Allen, and Odyssey bringing back their take on the torqueless putter (look at their prior efforts with the Back Stryke, which pre-dates LAB) the no torque putters are the new hot commodity.

    Thanks for the great review.

  8. I've always been a pretty good putter. Put the DF3 in the bag recently, and it is next level. I've never putted or felt more comfortable over a putter. Absolute beast. It's so ridiculously easy to putter on line. Worth every penny.

  9. I have a mezz and it’s the real deal. Yes price is expensive but you shouldn’t need another putter again. It will last you a very long time and that’s how you need to look at it

  10. i have both, i like the df3 more because I can pick the ball up which helps with my bad back so saves me shots from holes 15/18 where my spine starts to ache lol.

  11. I got fit for a mezz1 max Friday. Had a practice with it but first time out today. Struggled with a push on most of putts today.

  12. I think the Mezz feels different because it's partially made with stainless steel, while the DF3 is completely made of aluminum. I tried out both at the PGA store and even though I like the look of the DF3 better I was putting better with the Mezz.

  13. Would recommend trying the Mezz Max with the TPT or Accra shaft. Those shafts eliminated that tingy feel of the Mezz Max for me.
