Hi.
Hi Hannah
I was told my grips were borderline illegal. Apparently where I’d not changed them for a while they were changing shape to fit my grip. I’d never heard of this before. Something you’re familiar with?
Had the hand warmer in my pocket last week with the ball next to it. (Cos that’s where I carry my ball too and not for any gain). Wasn’t in any way a serious competition so no harm done but it wouldn’t have occurred to me that this was against the rules. 👍🏻
Good info. Love your discussions about the rules of golf. It helps clarify many of unusual particulars of this demanding sport. Many of them seem to be broken unknowingly but have severe penalties.
Keep em coming Hannah , well done on the 10k ❤
Thank you for removing the subtitles!
Can I have your swing please?
Adjustable clubs, the hosel adjustments are fools gold and just add unnecessary weight. Wouldnt be surprised to see drivers offered without adjustment, using the saved weight to add forgiveness
Is it illegal to use laser distance devices which provide you with incline, ie; how far is the target above or below me?
You must be great craic on a round of golf "ugh your not allowed to do that" 🤣😜🤣
Another great informative video!
Congrats on 10k Hannah, well done 👏
Great again, thanks
10K! Congrats … Interestingly enough – PGA Tour player had a driver club face crack. The rule’s official refused to declare it changed enough to warrant a change of clubs … the official was subsequently roasted on social media.
Two questions….Are night ball like the flyer legal? If they are legal can you switch from an ordinary ball if the light dims at the end of a round? Thanks…
#1 – well done on smashing through 10k subscribers – BRAVO.
#2 – I really enjoyed the content – very informative and should probably be highlighted by clubs in some way to their players.
Cheers
No one checks… loads of old clubs not confirming but no one calls anyone out for it
What's allegah?
Thanks again Hannh. Great content that applies to us all. Congrats also on reaching 10k. Now for the next 10k.
Someone i played with recently swished his driver in the longish grass around the teeing area before he teed off. He was trying to get a film of moisture on the clubface as he had heard it made the ball go further. !!!
I learned something about warming up the golf ball there! Great tip. However, concerning the damaged club, I'm not sure this is right. If you look at the R&A, rule 4.1a(2) " the player may: Continue to make strokes with the damaged club", except if the damage results from abuse, and except during a play-off in a stroke play.
Golf seems to have more stupid rules than some fundamental religions
Rick Shiels ? Who's that ? It's Hannah Holden time. Another informative video. Smash that like button 👇
I need to clean/sharpen the grooves in my irons. Thank you for the maximum width and depth numbers. Is there a standard method for measuring these? Maybe a go/no go gage or some such?
Good info on the rules, hadn’t heard of some of those ones. Thanks Hannah & congrats on 10K+🎉
Great work again Hannah, many thanks. Well done on 10k. << Subscribe everyone to say thank you.>>
…hey hey Hannah…so glad to be one of your 10 K😊😊😊… well done 'kiddo"…another great info video…keep it going, greatly appreciated…
Between holes in the cold, I have placed the ball inside my shirt against my warm skin. What could be more natural? I can't imagine being penalized for that???
Ms Hannah, great stuff, I liked your videos on the MacGregor v max clubs and the Wilson lauch pad 2 irons.. which irons are the most forgiving, I have both sets and they are both very easy to hit!! I can't tell, what do you think
I was accused, as a guest in a men’s international, of waxing the face of my driver for less spin.
Now, I do wax the crown to help keep the occasional ball from horribly marking up the top since I tee the ball pretty high. Less friction on the crown and always teeing a clean ball has helped keep the carbon crown nice. This guy’s guest accused me of waxing the face as well. He even told the club pro on me. But, the club pro dunked my driver in a bucket of water and the water beaded up on the crown ONLY. Not the face. Therefore, no foreign substances on the face. He told me I was ok and told the other member’s guest to lighten up.
Now a buddy of mine always wipes the outside of his nose that has sunscreen on it…then wipes the face of his driver with the same finger. I think he feels like he’s really stealthy, but I know what he’s trying. We only play for fun and we kid him about it. 😀👍🏻
