The Krafts know exactly what they need to do to help Drake. It isn't going out and asking how to support Drake. SPEND THE MONEY KRAFT! Nothing is going to make up for lack of talent and a cheap owner that sticks his nose in football operations.
Tbh stop talking about firing guys who just started. We’re getting better and it’s taking time. I don’t want to be like the browns panther jets etc. we build up and grow together. It’s about Drake Maye. Keep him healthy and upright this year let him go through his growing pains then we get him some guys. Defense can be whatever because we’ve got the guys there. The Pats just need to help Drake Maye.
Are we trying to become the Jets? Let’s state the obvious, Bills drafting was terrible and it’s going to take time to turn this around.

I'm pretty sure you guys did a podcast about Rookie quarterbacks taking the big leap in their second year in the NFL because their teams traded for a legit #1 wide receiver.
This all supports the “cart before the horse” position Tom had before the draft….need to build the team before dropping in a high draft QB when it’ll take to the end of draft choice’s cheap contracts to build a team…
This is a fun debate, but neither Mayo or Van Pelt are going anywhere. They’re only going to add to the staff or make positional changes.
There's so much talk about "messaging" and media crap around the Patriots. I wonder if that derives from higher management being preoccupited with perception, wanting excuses.
Who cares about press chatter? Employ coaches who win at football, not for their "messaging".

What do people expect with a different O-Line lineup like every game? The O-Line needs continuity.
AVP has been mostly relying on rookie & 2nd year WR’s with still no true #1 WR threat. It’s just a bunch of 2’s & 3’s & maybe 4’s.
I agree with Phil’s take on Javon Baker. Start getting him in on some offensive packages. Let’s see if he can develop. We know Thornton’s never going to pan out here. Lets see if Baker was the steal we were told he was.

short of Kyle Shanahan getting fired tomorrow, who are you gonna find that is enough of an improvement over AVP to justify how far back you'd set Drake by changing his OC after 1 year?
not saying AVP is amazing but i am saying maybe we're underselling how far it sets drake back.
Unless something drastic happens on the field, or something bad happens off the field, AVP should come back next year. you knew he was inexperienced when you hired him, let him have the opportunity grow with mayo and drake and demarcus.
