Stop saying it like it's a shock, it's the arena/tv atmosphere (it's not what they are use to, so it's like they are going pro for the first time all over again) and difference in women's and men's styles of play that has held women back. Bai has the advantage of being trained by the same people and in the same way as the Chinese men that are coming through, and has now had some experience with major coverage, she's easily going to settle into the main tour like every other pro from this point. Hopefully not the last woman to make to the main stage but will be forever remembered as the first.
