I am not gonna take full credit because someone in the comments already kind of mentioned this but when 4 or 5 guys sign with LIV Wes gets bumped up. That's what happened before…

You guys crack me up. He's a journeyman guy who will always be battling just to get a card or even if he gets a card he'll be battling just to keep it. Nothing wrong with that because it's better than all the internet spuds who follow him, but you need to stop thinking he's a top tour player that the world can't wait to see. He's just not, and never has been. Beating internet hacks like Grant Horvat and Micah Morris is not the same as having to consistently go against Rory, Scheffler, Schauflee, Morikawa or anyone who is actually a professional golfer. Fun guy? Yes. Consistently challenging professional golfer? No.
He stated multiple times he just wants to play golf with George, so this will give him time to do that.
Plus, he'll still play in some PGA tour events and he'll likely play the DP too. If I were a LIV executive I would offer him to be part of Rahmbo's team for next season.
Wes will place in the top 10 this weekend and get his card.

I lost all respect for this guy after some comments he made towards Garret Clark a few months back
Adrien Dumont de Chassart is also playing out of his mind from a little more than 100 points behind Wes. He's 3 strokes off the lead, so I think him finishing high enough to bump Wes further down the standings is also possible. Wes should have played better, I look forward to the Major Cut series with his brother and Grant potentially being able to stay a once a month thing though.

Thanks for the update. Wesley lost on his own. He played terrible in the last round last week which cost so many places. He can’t close a round either. Look at some of his rounds where he has faltered in the last few holes.

As many people have noted, Wesley publicly stated on the golf channel that he was fine either way and enjoys non PGA golf just as much. He's made over 5.1 Million dollars on tour and genuinely seems happy with the Youtube content…so unless you are his agent and are getting a cut, let him be.
I made a list of about 15 things that cannot happen from this event for Wes to make 125th. It took about an hour. There are about 10 players that can get 1st thru 3rd, of whom it's about 5-6 shots back. A couple players need to tie for 40th or better, and some other results are obtainable. It's not just a couple players as great as that would be. Only 58 players are still playing the event, so making top 40 is a bit easier for Berger and Norlander (1 back). Springer is 2 shots back of T35. Martin Laird is 3 shots back of 3rd. Berger has 3 shots to play with. Adrien Dumont de Chassart is 1 shot back of 4th, and Thorb has 1 shot to spare for T5. Matt Wallace is 1 shot back of T16. I didn't list everything, but that's most of it. I'm saying there's a chance albeit unlikely.
I think he's played better not caring as much about the tour. He's focused on their channel because it's a consistent paycheck and there's zero stress.

Wes is a Korn Ferry Tour level player anyway. He'll be more competitive on that tour than the PGA Tour.

Wesley will play in plenty of tournaments in 2025. He is the most popular golfer on yt and he will get plenty of sponsors exemptions.
So will Jon Rahm persuade the Bryan Bros to try the LIV qualifying tournament, get a LIV card would give them time to YT and be financially life changing. Bryan Bros bring viewers to LIV, so there is a quid pro quo, they gave LIV starts to worse players last year, so has to be worth considering.
How do you go from conditional status to full tour card back? Does he need to win one of those events or rack up enough points?
