Projector vs. TV? Here’s All You Need To Know | Indoor Golf Simulator Setup
if you are building a home sim, the big fork in the road you will have to face is to go with a projector and screen or TV and ball net. in this video I will go over all of the pros and cons to make it easy for you to decide what is right for you.
in the indoor golf world, these two options are hotly debated with every person having their own adamant opinion about which is better. instead of trying to convince you of my own opinion I will be laying out all the considerations so by the end it will be clear what the right option is for you. unfortunately, even if you end up going with one over the her, either option will have compromises so at the time of me making this video, there is no perfect solution available.

very good.
In the process right now.
I can buy a 65" HD 4K for right around $400.
If this turns out not be be ideal and I want to ramp up my commitment, the worst case is I now have an extra tv. If I go projector, I can still use the tv.
The impact screen $700 and the structure to support it ($X)…the projector $1000 is not only expensive, but it seems like old tech to me.
I can use my imagination with the tv.
Plus, if you have a golf sim facility near you, for $30 a hour, shared by you and friends….that can scratch the itch for a projector experience.
Just did a movable sim in my garage. 7' Spornia net, Motivo hitting mat and a 55" TV mounted directly in front of where I hit on the garage wall – out of the way. I used the Garman R10 and my IPad. This is perfect for my situation.
Having owned both, I really like the projector set up I have now. On my first set up I could only afford the TV/Net, and it was ok, better than nothing. However, now that I have the projector/screen, I love it.
What net are you using?
Wow 🙏⛳️🔥 thank you for this
