Carly Booth has endured a torrid time of things in recent years due to seemingly never-ending injury woes.
The 32-year old made history aged 11 when she became the youngest ladies’ club champion in the UK.
She went on to enjoy a splendid amateur career and was heralded as a Scottish golf prodigy.
In 2009, Booth became the youngest-ever Scottish golfer to qualify for the Ladies European Tour at just 17.
She quickly took to the professional game and won two LET events in 2012, including her home event at the Ladies Scottish Open.
Booth had to wait for her third title, with that coming in the Czech Open in 2019.
That, to date, is her latest win on tour.
In fact, Booth hasn’t even played an event on the LET since 2022.
That’s because injuries have absolutely ravaged her career in recent years.
Booth underwent shoulder surgery in 2020 but managed to return to the game.

Playing regularly throughout 2022, she hasn’t played since missing the cut at the Belgian Ladies Open in May of that year.
This year, in particular, has been a major challenge for Booth.
Back in January, she revealed she had undergone knee surgery and admitted she didn’t know when she’d be able to play golf again.
After struggling with her knee for more than a year-and-a-half, Booth underwent a reconstruction of her ACL.
The three-time tour winner conceded the entire 2024 season would likely be a write-off.
That was before an incredibly bad stroke of luck.
Last month, Booth revealed she had undergone the SAME operation – this time on her OTHER knee.
Taking to X in early October, he said: “Well, that’s the left ACL done. Both done in same year.
“Can’t wait to start recovery. Can’t wait for 2025!”
Seven weeks on, that recovery is now underway.
Taking to Instagram, Booth gave her followers an update alongside a picture of her exercising her knees in the gym.
She said: “I have to admit, it’s been tough having surgery on both knees this year.
