According to Golf.com, Firestone Country Club was ranked in the top 100 for best public golf courses across the country.

Firestone’s South course placed at 53rd, making it the top ranked in the state. Golf.com writes that a few of the courses, including Firestone, are actually private, “but they allow outside play under certain conditions.”

Firestone has also hosted the PGA Championship three times and is currently the home of the Kaulig Companies Championship through 2026.

Last week Kaulig Companies announced a $1.3 million dollar donation to charities across Northeast Ohio that was raised from their summer championship hosted at Firestone.
