  1. The torsion between the upper and lower body ensures consistency in the movement, as the lower body pulls the upper body along. Keep in mind, a pulling movement is often easier to repeat than a pushing movement. Additionally, this torsion generates more energy, which can then be released at the moment of impact with the ball.

    Pulling with the arms from position 4 (the highest point of the backswing) leads to the release of this torsion. This is referred to as "Slag" – the point where the pulling movement transitions into a pushing movement. This transition causes inconsistency and results in less distance.

  2. Not sure. If you measure distance from your line to both hips they are not equal as hips rotate. To me hips are rotating horizontal to the ground. There is an initial small upward angle but very small. Just my opinion.

  3. She’s a hitter for sure. Releases the club from the top to get to a hitters position before striking through the low point.
